For the week that ended on October 4th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Superman (2025) kept the top spot on the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its second week. The latest screen iteration of the classic DC Comics character opened in cinemas in July 2025 and promptly topped the box office, grossing over $125 million on its opening weekend en route to over $354 million domestically and over $615 million worldwide. This week, Superman again had a super HD share of 74%, with 49% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, enough to again make it the week's top 4K UHD title.

Rising to second place on the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its fourth week is Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Jurassic World Rebirth. The seventh film in the Jurassic Park franchise opened in July 2025 to a mixed critical reception, but as ever, the dinosaurs are critic-proof when it comes to the box office, where the film has grossed over $339 million domestically and over $886 million globally. This week, Jurassic World Rebirth sold 32% as many Blu-ray units as Superman, with an HD share of 51% and 22% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Taking third place on the Blu-ray-only chart is Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's A Nightmare on Elm Street 7-Film Collection (1984-1994). The box set contains a seven-disc box set featuring the previously-released 4K UHD of A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) along with the 4K UHD premieres of its sequels A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985), A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987), A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988), A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989), Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1990) and Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994). All seven films come with HDR and new Dolby Atmos mixes, as well as DTS-HD MA original audio in 2.0 Mono, Stereo or 5.1 and new extras. This week, the A Nightmare on Elm Street 7-Film Collection sold 27% as many Blu-ray units as Superman, with a perfect HD share of 100% and 100% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Elsewhere on the charts, the week's top new release, Decal Releasing's The Life of Chuck, debuted at No. 7 on the Blu-ray-only chart, while Universal's American Pie and Arrow Video's Creepshow 2, both of which received 4K UHD upgrades this week, came in at Nos. 10 and 13, respectively.
