Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced '
Halloween II' for release on Blu-ray on January 12, 2010. This Rob Zombie-helmed sequel of his own
remake of John Carpenter's
horror modern classic had been distributed theatrically by The Weinstein Company, with a meager total box office take of around $33 million.
