German specialized site Bluray-Disc.de recently gained access to a list of
upcoming Blu-ray titles from retail chain Saturn, which included Steven
Spielberg's '
Saving Private Ryan' for March 25, 2010. As usual, this
information must be considered unofficial until there is a formal
announcement from the studio.
Steven Spielberg's titles are among the most highly requested on Blu-ray.
They have been the object of multiple unconfirmed rumors and pre-
announcements, going as far as having preorder pages and cover images
and disc specifications for '
Artificial Intelligence' (see
blu-ray.com, May 9), which
never materialized.
Additionally, a new master is reportedly being prepared for '
Minority Report'
for release in 2010 (see
blu-ray.com, September 11); and the Jurassic Park trilogy is
also rumored to be coming soon (see
blu-ray.com, August 28).
