Australian label Imprint Films has informed us that it will release two new titles on 4K Blu-ray. They are: Don Coscarelli's
The Beastmaster(1982) and Albert Pyun's
The Sword and the Sorcerer (1982). The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on January 7.
THE BEASTMASTER
He was the unborn crown prince of a family slaughtered by the lords of evil. When he grows to manhood, fearless warrior Dar battles his way through a wasteland of sorcery and black magic, with the help of a cunning hunter and a beautiful slave girl, on the ultimate quest for freedom and vengeance.
Starring Marc Singer, Tanya Roberts, Rip Torn, and John Amos, the film is based on the 1959 novel by Andre Alice Norton, directed by Don Coscarelli (Phantasm).
