For the week of October 13th, Paramount Home Media Distribution will release a Blu-ray / 4K UHD combo pack for Christopher McQuarrie's Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, starring Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny and Angela Bassett.

Paramount's 4K UHD release of Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning contains the film's Dolby Atmos audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include three audio commentary tracks: one with Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise, another with McQuarrie, editor Eddie Hamilton and first assistant director Mary Boulding and a third with composers Max Aruj and Alfie Godfrey and score producer Cécile Tournesac. An isolated score track is also included. Additional extras are on a dedicated bonus Blu-ray disc and include multiple featurettes, a deleted footage montage and featurettes on the Olifants River Canyon (both with optional commentary by McQuarrie) and the biplane transfer (with optional commentary by McQuarrie and Cruise), as well as promo spots and multiple still galleries. In addition to standard packaging, a Limited Edition SteelBook will also be available.
New on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is Zach Cregger's Weapons (2025), starring Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong and Amy Madigan.
Description: When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.
Warner's Blu-ray releases of Weapons contain the film's Dolby Atmos audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Extras include the featurettes Director Zach Cregger: Making Horror Personal, Weaponized: The Cast of Weapons and Weapons: Texture of Terror. Mervyn LeRoy's Lovely to Look At (1952), starring Kathryn Grayson, Red Skelton, Howard Keel, Marge Champion, Gower Champion and Ann Miller. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original Technicolor camera negatives, Warner Archive presents Lovely to Look At with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include Tom and Jerry short Dog Trouble (1942), the Pete Smith Specialty short Have You Ever Wondered? (1947), and the film's original theatrical trailer.
A remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for Terence Fisher's The Curse of Frankenstein (1957), starring Peter Cushing, Hazel Court, Robert Urquhart, Christopher Lee, Melvyn Hayes and Valerie Gaunt. Sourced from a new 4K master, Warner Archive and Hammer Films present The Curse of Frankenstein with a choice of DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono or DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio tracks and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Extras are spread over the 4K UHD disc and two Blu-rays and include a new audio commentary with author and critic Kim Newman, horror anthologist and writer Stephen Jones and author Barry Forshaw (British Gothic Cinema) and the new featurettes Recreating the Creature, A Fitting Vocation / Topped and Tailed, Good or Tuesday?, Painting with Fine Brushes and Beside the Seaside, as well as a featurette on the new 4K master. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Warner Archive presents A Summer Place with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include the Looney Tunes short A Witch's Tangled Hare (1959) and the film's original theatrical trailer.
Dick Richards' Rafferty and the Gold Dust Twins (1975), starring Alan Arkin, Sally Kellerman, Mackenzie Phillips, Alex Rocco, Charles Martin Smith and Harry Dean Stanton. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Warner Archive presents Rafferty and the Gold Dust Twins with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Finally from Warner is a Blu-ray release for Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Series (2000-2024), starring Larry David, Jeff Garlin, Cheryl Hines, Susie Essman and J.B. Smoove. The 24-disc set contains all 12 seasons of the series on Blu-ray for the first time worldwide.
New on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Walt Disney Home Entertainment is Matt Shakman's The Fantastic Four: First Steps, starring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, Ralph Ineson and Julia Garner.
Description: Set against the backdrop of a '60s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel's First Family faces a daunting challenge. Forced to balance being heroes with their family bond, they must defend Earth from a space god and his enigmatic herald.
Disney's 4K UHD release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps contains Dolby Vision HDR and the film's Dolby Atmos audio. Extras include audio commentary with Matt Shakman and production designer Kasra Farahani, the featurettes Meet The First Family, Fantastic Futurism and From Beyond and Below, a gag reel and deleted scenes. In addition to standard packaging, a Limited Edition 4K UHD SteelBook, as well as a second Amazon Exclusive 4K UHD SteelBook and a Walmart Exclusive Blu-ray with Pop-Up Slipcover will also be available.
Turning to catalog titles, the Criterion Collection has a 4K UHD upgrade for Georges Franju's Eyes Without a Face (Les Yeux sans visage) (1960), starring Pierre Brasseur, Alida Valli, François Guérin, Edith Scob, Juliette Mayniel and Alexandre Rignault. Sourced from a new 4K master, Criterion presents Eyes Without a Face with French: LPCM Mono audio, optional English subtitles and in SDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include Franju's documentary Blood of the Beasts (Le Sang des bêtes) (1949), two interview excerpts with Franju on Blood of the Beasts and horror cinema, a 2013 interview with Edith Scob and excerpts from the documentary Les grand-pères du crime (1985), about screenwriters Pierre Boileau and Thomas Narcejac. Also included are trailers and "essays by novelist Patrick McGrath and film historian David Kalat".
Coming to Blu-ray from Radiance Films is the box set Daiei Gothic: Japanese Ghost Stories Vol. 2 (1960-1970), a three-disc set containing Tokuzô Tanaka's Demon of Mount Oe (大江山酒天童子) (1960) and The Haunted Castle (秘録怪猫伝) (1969) and Kimiyoshi Yasuda's Ghost of Kasane Swamp (怪談累が淵) (1970). All three films are presented from new 4K masters, with Japanese: LPCM Mono audio and optional English subtitles. Extras include select-scene audio commentary on Ghost of Kasane Swamp by horror film scholar Lindsay Nelson, new interviews with period film historian Taichi Kasuga (on Demon of Mount Oe), J-Horror filmmaker Mari Asato (on The Haunted Castle) and J-Horror filmmaker Norio Tsuruta (on Ghost of Kasane Swamp), new visual essays by Tom Mes (on Demon of Mount Oe) and ghost story scholar Zack Davisson (on The Haunted Castle) and trailers for all three films. Limited edition content includes an "80-page perfect bound book featuring new writing by Amber T, Jasper Sharp, and Tom Mes, plus archival writing by Daniel O'Neill and original ghost stories The Goblin of Oeyama and The Vampire Cat". Sourced from a new 4K master, Radiance presents Malpertuis with lossless audio and optional English subtitles. Extras include new interviews with Harry Kümel and author and gothic horror expert Jonathan Rigby, audio commentary with Kümel and assistant director Françoise Levie, the 2005 documentary Malpertuis Archive and 2005 featurettes Orson Welles Uncut, Susan Hampshire: One Actress, Three Parts and Malpertuis Revisited, Belgian television interviews from 1971 with Michel Bouquet and Harry Kümel, the 100-minute Cannes cut of the film (in SD), Kümel's short film The Warden of the Tomb (1965) and a trailer. Coming from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment this week is a new edition of Robert Zemeckis' Back to the Future: The Ultimate Trilogy (1985-1990), starring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Thomas F. Wilson and James Tolkan. Previously released in 2020 for the trilogy's 35th anniversary, this new 40th anniversary edition contains a bonus disc with new the extras 40 Years Later: Reflecting on the Future, Back to Hill Valley, Untold Stories of Back to the Future, TCM Classic Film Festival Panel and A Mystery in History. In addition to the box set, Universal will also release new individual SteelBooks for Back to the Future (which also contains the new bonus disc), Back to the Future Part II and Back to the Future Part III.

Eli Roth's Knock Knock (2015), starring Keanu Reeves, Lorenza Izzo, Ana de Armas, Aaron Burns, Ignacia Allamand and Dan Baily. Lionsgate presents Knock Knock with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.
