For the week of October 6th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Joseph Kosinski's F1: The Movie, starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia and Javier Bardem.

Description: From Apple Original Films and the filmmakers from Top Gun: Maverick comes the high-octane, action-packed feature film F1® The Movie, starring Brad Pitt and directed by Joseph Kosinski. The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Kosinski, seven-time FORMULA 1® world champion Lewis Hamilton, Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Chad Oman.

Dubbed "the greatest that never was," Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) was FORMULA 1's most promising phenom of the 1990s until an accident on the track nearly ended his career. Thirty years later, he's a nomadic racer-for-hire when he's approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), owner of a struggling FORMULA 1 team that is on the verge of collapse. Ruben convinces Sonny to come back to FORMULA 1 for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world. He'll drive alongside Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), the team's hotshot rookie intent on setting his own pace. But as the engines roar, Sonny's past catches up with him and he finds that in FORMULA 1, your teammate is your fiercest competition—and the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone.

Warner's Blu-ray releases of F1: The Movie contain the film's Dolby Atmos audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Extras include the featurettes Inside the F1 The Movie Table Read, The Anatomy of a Crash, Getting Up to Speed, APXGP Innovations, Making it to Silverstone, Lewis Hamilton: Producer, APXGP Sets and Locations Around the World, APXGP and F1: How it was Filmed and Sound of Speed. In addition to standard packaging, a Limited Edition Dual Format SteelBook will also be available.

Also coming from Warner is a Blu-ray box set for the Peanuts: Ultimate TV Specials Collection (1965-2011), a five-disc set which contains 40 Peanuts specials spanning from A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) through to Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown (2011). Also included is a 28-page booklet.

Finally from Warner is a 4K UHD upgrade for David F. Sandberg's Lights Out (2016), starring Teresa Palmer, Maria Bello, Billy Burke, Emily Alyn Lind, Alicia Vela-Bailey and Gabriel Bateman. Warner's 4K UHD disc will have Dolby Vision HDR and DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio. Extras include deleted scenes.

New on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is Timo Tjahjanto's Nobody 2, starring Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, John Ortiz, Colin Hanks, RZA, Christopher Lloyd and Sharon Stone.

Studio description: Nobody ruins his vacation. An ordinary dad with lethal skills, Bob Odenkirk returns as the beloved suburban father and workaholic assassin in the full throttle, action-comedy spectacle of the summer, NOBODY 2.

Universal's Blu-ray releases of Nobody 2 contain the film's Dolby Atmos audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include deleted scenes and the featurettes Nobody 2: The Fight Continues and Nobody Does Stunts Like Us. In addition to standard packaging, a Limited Edition SteelBook will also be available. On the same day, Universal will release a Nobody 2-Movie Collection 4K (2021-2025) with both films 4K UHD.

Also new on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Universal is Pierre Perifel and JP Sans' The Bad Guys 2, featuring the voices of Sam Rockwell, Zazie Beetz, Awkwafina, Erika Christensen, Alex Borstein and Anthony Ramos.

Description: The Bad Guys are back, and this time, they've got company. In the new action-packed chapter from DreamWorks Animation's acclaimed comedy smash about a crackerjack crew of animal outlaws, our now-reformed Bad Guys are trying (very, very hard) to be good, but instead find themselves hijacked into a high-stakes, globe-trotting heist, masterminded by a new team of criminals they never saw coming: The Bad Girls.

Universal's Blu-ray releases of The Bad Guys 2 contain the film's Dolby Atmos audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include filmmaker commentary, deleted scenes (with introductions by Pierre Perifel and JP Sans) and the featurettes Bad Guys: Out of Line, Double Jeopardy: The Making of The Bad Guys 2, Meet the Gang, Double Trouble: The Animals Behind The Bad Guys 2, Causing a Scene, Planning the Heist and Sketching the Bad Girls.

New on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is Jennifer Kaytin Robinson's I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025), starring Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Description: When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they're forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer…and is hell-bent on revenge. As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.

Sony's 4K UHD release of I Know What You Did Last Summer contains Dolby Vision HDR and the film's Dolby Atmos audio. Extras include deleted scenes, outtakes and bloopers and the featurettes Return to Southport – The Cast and Chills, Kills & Thrills – Making a Thriller.

Also coming from Sony is a 4K UHD upgrade for Lawrence Kasdan's Silverado (1985), starring Kevin Kline, Scott Glenn, Kevin Costner, Danny Glover, John Cleese and Rosanna Arquette. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Sony presents Silverado with Dolby Vision HDR and a choice of a new Dolby Atmos audio remix, DTS-HD MA 5.1 or original DTS-HD MA 2.0 Surround audio tracks. Extras on the 4K UHD disc include a theatrical trailer, while a legacy Blu-ray disc also includes a commentary with Western historians and the featurettes A Return to Silverado and The Making of Silverado. Finally from Sony comes a new 4K UHD edition of Sam Raimi's The Quick and the Dead (1995), starring Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman, Russell Crowe, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobin Bell. Previously released with HDR in 2018, this new 4K UHD disc adds Dolby Vision. Audio remains a choice of a Dolby Atmos remix or original DTS-HD MA 5.1. Extras include deleted scenes and a theatrical trailer.

Note: Sony's 4K UHD releases of I Know What You Did Last Summer, Silverado and the new edition of The Quick and the Dead are all currently available only in SteelBook packaging.

New on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Shudder and IFC Films is Sean Byrne's Dangerous Animals, starring Hassie Harrison, Jai Courtney, Josh Heuston, Ella Newton, Liam Greinke and Rob Carlton.

Description: Trapped on a killer's boat with hungry sharks circling below, a surfer must outwit a predator more dangerous than the ocean itself—will she escape, or become the next offering to the deep?

New on Blu-ray from AMC Studios is The Walking Dead: Dead City - Season 2 (2025), a two-disc set with all eight episodes. Extras include Episode insiders and behind-the-scenes of the episode "Show Me More".

New on Blu-ray from Mill Creek Entertainment is Ultraman Arc: The Complete Series (ウルトラマンアーク) (2024-2025), starring Yuki Totsuka, Sho Kaneta, Kaho Mizutani, Koichiro Nishi, Hirose Yuya and Masato Hagiwara.

Description: With rampaging kaiju, evil aliens, and a warped dimension where even time itself is distorted, the dark Ultraman Arc, Guil Arc finally emerges. Can Ultraman Arc rise above the greatest test of all and protect the future, surpassing imagination?

Mill Creek's Blu-ray of is a four-disc set with all 25 episodes, along with the feature film Ultraman Arc the Movie: The Clash of Light and Evil (ウルトラマンアーク THE MOVIE 超次元大決戦!光と闇のアーク) (2025). Audio is Japanese: DTS-HD MA 2.0 with English subtitles, as well as an English dub option. Also included is a 12-page guide booklet and a playable card from the Ultraman card game.

New on Blu-ray from Vidangel Studios is Jon Avnet's The Last Rodeo, starring Neal McDonough, Mykelti Williamson, Daylon Swearingen, Sarah Jones, Graham Harvey and Christopher McDonald.

Description: A retired rodeo legend risks it all to save his grandson. Facing his own painful past and the fears of his family, he enters a high-stakes bull-riding competition as the oldest contestant ever. Along the way, he reconciles old wounds with his estranged daughter and proves that true courage is found in the fight for family.

Vidangel Studios' Blu-ray of The Last Rodeo includes a roundtable discussion, deleted scenes and trailers.

Finally for new releases this week, Music Box Films has a Blu-ray for Francois Ozon's When Fall Is Coming (Quand vient l'automne), starring Hélène Vincent, Josiane Balasko, Ludivine Sagnier, Pierre Lottin, Garlan Erlos and Sophie Guillemin.

After a tumultuous life in Paris, Michelle (Hélène Vincent) has retired to a quiet existence in Burgundy, tending her garden and attending services at her parish. The voracious hostility of her adult daughter Valérie (Ludivine Sagnier) remains Michelle's great puzzlement: how can a child for whom she sacrificed so much treat her with such contempt and suspicion? When Valérie drops off her son for a week with his grandmother, Michelle sees an opportunity to repair the relationship, but a culinary accident soon undercuts whatever trust remains. With the help of her best friend Marie-Claude (Josiane Balasko), whose son (Pierre Lottin) has recently been released from prison, Michelle plots a path towards restoring the family life so long denied her.

With a deceptively placid surface, master stylist François Ozon cooks up a twisty and destabilizing thriller where family ties remain the most mysterious ingredient of all.

Music Box Films' Blu-ray of When Fall Is Coming contains French: DTS-HD MA 5.1 (or 2.0) audio with optional English subtitles. Extras include interviews with Francois Ozon, Hélène Vincent, Josiane Balasko and Ludivine Sagnier, deleted scenes, bloopers, costume and light tests, a poster featurette and both a teaser and theatrical trailer. Turning to catalog titles, Shout Factory have several films receiving 4K UHD upgrades this week. They are:

Mario Bava's Black Sunday (AKA The Mask of Satan) (La maschera del demonio) (1960), starring Barbara Steele, John Richardson, Andrea Checchi, Ivo Garrani, Arturo Dominici and Enrico Olivieri. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Shout presents the international version of Black Sunday with English: DTS-HD MA Mono audio, optional English SDH subtitles. Extras include four new audio commentary tracks: one with writer Dr. Rebekah King, a second with Dr. Karen Stollznow, Matt Baxter and Blake Smith, a third with film critic Brian Keiper and a fourth with film critic Meagan Navarro. A remastered Blu-ray also includes a Trailers from Hell featurette with filmmaker Larry Cohen, a poster gallery, TV spot and both US and international trailers.

Peter Hyams' End of Days (1999), starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gabriel Byrne, Robin Tunney, Kevin Pollak, CCH Pounder and Rod Steiger. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative (approved by director and cinematographer Peter Hyams), Shout presents End of Days with DTS-HD MA 5.1 or 2.0 audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include new interviews with Peter Hyams, screenwriter Andrew W. Marlowe, visual effects supervisor John DesJardin and composer John Debney. Also included is audio commentary with Peter Hyams, a Spotlight on Location making of and the featurette Special Effects: The Devil's Playground, as well as a theatrical trailer.

Finally from Shout and GKIDS is a remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD upgrade for Mamoru Hosoda's anime film The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (時をかける少女) (2006), starring Riisa Naka, Takuya Ishida, Ayami Kakiuchi, Sachie Hara, Mitsuki Tanimura and Yuki Sekido. GKIDS presents The Girl Who Leapt Through Time with both Japanese and English audio tracks and English, French or Spanish subtitles. Extras include storyboards, feature commentary with the director and voice cast, storyboard commentary and teasers and trailers.

Note: Shout and GKIDS' 4K UHD release of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is currently available only as an Amazon Exclusive SteelBook.

Coming to 4K UHD from Walt Disney Home Entertainment and 20th Century Studios is Jim Sharman's The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), starring Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Richard O'Brien, Meat Loaf and Patricia Quinn. Sourced from a 4K master, Disney presents The Rocky Horror Picture Show with Dolby Vision HDR and the choice of a new Dolby Atmos audio remix or original DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include audio commentary with Richard O'Brien and Patricia Quinn, a sing-along option, a trivia track, vintage callback track and song selection. A Blu-ray disc also includes an alternate version with a black-and-white opening, a deleted song and alternate takes, the documentary Rocky Horror Double Feature Video Show, a music video for "Time Warp" and a Beacon Theater featurette.

Note: Disney's 4K UHD release of The Rocky Horror Picture Show is currently available only in SteelBook packaging.

Coming to 4K UHD from the Criterion Collection is David Lynch's Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992), starring Sheryl Lee, Ray Wise, Mädchen Amick, Dana Ashbrook, Phoebe Augustine and David Bowie. Sourced from a 4K master, Criterion presents Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me in 4K SDR with DTS-HD MA 7.1 audio (both the master and the remix supervised by David Lynch) and an alternate DTS-HD MA 2.0 Surround track. Extras replicate Criterion's 2017 Blu-ray edition, with The Missing Pieces (92 minutes of deleted scenes and alternate takes, assembled by Lynch), an actors' discussion featuring Lynch, Sheryl Lee, Ray Wise and Grace Zabriskie, interviews with Sheryl Lee and composer Angelo Badalamenti and trailers. Also included is a leaflet with "excerpts from an interview with Lynch from Lynch on Lynch, a 1997 book edited by filmmaker and writer Chris Rodley".

Finally this week, Arrow Video has a remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD upgrade for Mark A.Z. Dippé's Spawn (1997), starring Michael Jai White, John Leguizamo, Martin Sheen, Theresa Randle, Nicol Williamson and D.B. Sweeney. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the film's original camera negative by Warner Bros. MPI, Arrow presents both the theatrical and director's cuts of Spawn with DTS-HD MA 5.1 or 2.0 audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Extras include a new audio commentary with comic book expert and podcast host Dave Baxter, as well as new interviews with actors Michael Jai White, Melinda Clarke and D.B. Sweeney, animatronic creature and special makeup effects artists Howard Berger and Greg Nicotero, music supervisor Happy Walters and editor Michael Knue. Also included is filmmaker audio commentary, the featurettes Todd McFarlane: Chapter & Verse and The Making of Spawn, as well as a preview of Todd McFarlane's Spawn - The Animated Movie, scene-to-storyboard comparisons, original Todd McFarlane sketches a Spawn concept and sketch gallery and a theatrical trailer. Limited edition content includes a double-sided foldout poster with original and new artwork, as well as an "illustrated collector's booklet featuring new writing on the film by John Torrani".
