For the week that ended on September 27th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Superman (2025) topped the Blu-ray-only, overall packaged media and UHD charts in its first week. The latest screen iteration of the classic DC Comics character opened in cinemas in July 2025 and promptly topped the box office, grossing over $125 million on its opening weekend en route to over $354 million domestically and over $615 million worldwide. This week, Superman had a super HD share of 73%, with 33% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, enough to make it the week's top 4K UHD title.

Debuting in second place on all three charts is Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's 28 Years Later. The belated horror sequel opened in June 2025 to positive reviews and while it opened behind How to Train Your Dragon (2025), it ended up grossing over $70 million domestically and over $151 million worldwide. This week, 28 Years Later sold 31% as many Blu-ray units as Superman, with its own strong HD share of 69% and 46% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Dropping to third place on the Blu-ray-only chart in its third week is Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Jurassic World Rebirth. The seventh film in the Jurassic Park franchise opened in July 2025 to a mixed critical reception, but as ever, the dinosaurs are critic-proof when it comes to the box office, where the film has grossed over $339 million domestically and over $867 million globally. This week, Jurassic World Rebirth sold 22% as many Blu-ray units as Superman, with an HD share of 60% and 22% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Elsewhere on the charts, Universal's M3GAN 2.0 debuted at No. 4 on the Blu-ray-only chart, while Warner's The Last of Us: The Complete Second Season (2025) debuted at No. 5 and the studio's Corpse Bride, which was released on 4K UHD this week, came in at No. 7. Rounding out the top ten, Sony's 4K UHD upgrade for Night of the Living Dead (1990) landed that film at No. 8, while the Criterion Collection's Flow (2024) debuted at No. 9 and 20th Century Studios' The Sound of Music, another 4K UHD upgrade, came in at No. 10. Outside the top ten, Crunchyroll's anime Blu-ray of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End: Part 2 (2023-2024) debuted at No. 12 and Warner's direct-to-video animation Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires debuted at No. 13.
