THE LIGHTSHIP
Academy Award-winning actor Robert Duvall (Apocalypse Now) and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Klaus Maria Brandauer (Out of Africa) star in this gripping thriller from critically-acclaimed filmmaker Jerzy Skolimowski (EO).
Just when US Coast Guard captain Miller takes his teenage son Alex to his lightship off the coast of Virginia, Calvin Caspary and two criminal accomplices, on the run for the police, decide to hijack it.
Based on the German novella of the same name by author Siegfried Lenz, the film features early performances from actors Arliss Howard (Full Metal Jacket) and William Forsythe (Once Upon A Time In America).
PRIEST
Linus Roache (Batman Begins, Mandy), Tom Wilkinson (In The Name of the Father), and Robert Carlyle (Trainspotting) star in a harrowing tale of faith and identity, from director Antonia Bird (Ravenous).
A young priest in inner-city Liverpool falls in love with a man and finds himself facing a crisis in identity and faith.
TWENTYFOURSEVEN
This punchy 90s drama from prolific UK director Shane Meadows (This Is England) stars Bob Hoskins (Who Framed Roger Rabbit).
A man opens a boxing club for the aimless youngsters in his town, hoping to give them a new purpose and an opportunity to achieve something of which the whole community can be proud.
Praised by critics worldwide, the film was nominated for a BAFTA and won awards at the British Independent Film Awards and the Venice Film Festival.
FISH TANK
An acclaimed British drama from writer / director Andrea Arnold (American Honey), Fish Tank won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and the BAFTA for Best British Film.
Fifteen-year-old Mia is in an ongoing war with her family and the world around her. It isn't until she meets her mother's new boyfriend, Connor, that she feels she can connect with anyone – and when everything changes.
Starring Katie Jarvis and Michael Fassbender, Fish Tank is a "commanding, emotionally satisfying movie, comparable to such youth-in-trouble classics as The 400 Blows" (The New Yorker), ranked 91 on the 2025 New York Times list of '100 Best Movies of the 21st Century'.
ELENI
John Malkovich, Kate Nelligan, Linda Hunt and Glenne Headley star in this devastating drama, adapted from the memoir by journalist Nicholas Gage.
Her only crime was helping her son escape to America. Her punishment was death. Years later a New York Times reporter is determined to uncover the story of this heroic woman, and find the man who murdered her. Nicholas Gage is the Reporter. He is her son.
Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Peter Yates (The Dresser), reuniting with screenwriter Steve Tesich, following their earlier collaboration on the acclaimed sports drama Breaking Away.
WITHNAIL AND I
British legends Richard E. Grant, Paul McGann, and Richard Griffiths star in the cult comedy classic Withnail and I, written and directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Bruce Robinson.
Two substance-abusing, unemployed actors retreat to the countryside for a holiday that proves disastrous.
Voted as the 29th greatest British film of all time by the BFI, this beloved, offbeat film is adored by critics, fans, and filmmakers alike.
