For the week that ended on September 13th, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's
Jurassic World Rebirth topped both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its debut. The seventh film in the
Jurassic Park franchise opened in July 2025 to a mixed critical reception, but as ever, the dinosaurs are critic-proof when it comes to the box office, where the film has grossed over $339 million domestically and over $866 million globally. This week,
Jurassic World Rebirth had an HD share of 57%, with 23% of units sold from the 4K UHD format. Universal also released a
Jurassic World: 7-Movie Collection (1993-2025) which came in at No. 11 on the Blu-ray-only chart.
Debuting in second place on the Blu-ray-only chart is Lionsgate Home Entertainment's
Ballerina (2025). A spin-off from the
John Wick series of action films,
Ballerina opened in June 2025 after a year of delays and reshoots, finding itself amidst a crowded summer marketplace. Despite these challenges, the film received broadly positive reviews and while it never topped the box office, it has managed to gross over $58 million domestically and over $137 million worldwide against a reported $90 million budget. This week,
Ballerina sold 86% as many Blu-ray units as
Jurassic World Rebirth, with a strong HD share of 71% and 44% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, enough to make it the week's top 4K UHD title.
Debuting in third place on the Blu-ray-only chart is Walt Disney Home Entertainment's
Elio. The 29th film from Pixar Animation Studios opened in June 2025 to strong reviews, but as with many original family films of the past several years, it underperformed at the box office, grossing only about $154 million worldwide on a reported budget of between $150-200 million. This week,
Elio sold 76% as many Blu-ray units as
Jurassic World Rebirth, with an HD share of 58%, but just 18% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, which Disney currently offers only in
SteelBook packaging.
Elsewhere on the charts, RLJE Films'
Clown in a Cornfield debuted at No. 4 on the Blu-ray-only chart, while Viz Media's Blu-ray of
Uzumaki debuted at No. 19. On the UHD Sellers chart, the Criterion Collection's
High and Low 4K (1963) came in at No. 9, while Universal's upgrade for
Kung Fu Panda 2 4K came in at No. 13.
