Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has moved forward the release date of the BD of this year's science fiction sleeper hit, '
District 9', which will now hit store shelves on December 22, in time for Christmas shopping. Disc specifications and special features remain unchanged from those
initially announced.
In other news, 'District 9' recently followed the trend of other new releases and dropped in price on Amazon.com to $19.99.
