Magnolia Home Entertainment and Blu-ray.com are offering two lucky members the opportunity to win a Blu-ray copy of R.T. Thorne's 40 Acres (2025), starring Danielle Deadwyler, Kateem O'Connor, Michael Greyeyes, and Milcania Diaz-Rojas. The release will be available for purchase on September 23.
To enter, simply add a comment to this post with your favorite 4K Blu-ray or Blu-ray release from Magnolia's catalog. You can also participate by suggesting a title you wish to see released on 4K Blu-ray or Blu-ray by Magnolia. (There are no right or wrong answers).
The contest is open to all Blu-ray.com members (membership is completely free, click here to join). A member may only enter a giveaway one time; multiple entries in the same contest will result in disqualification. However, members are free to enter (and win) as many contests as the site offers. Entrants will never be asked or required to post any personal information whatsoever on Blu-ray.com, and will only ever be identified by their Blu-ray.com username. Winners will be asked to provide full name and a valid mailing address via PM, but their personal information will not be shared or retained. Maintaining our membership's privacy is of the utmost importance. The contest will close on Monday, June 16, 2025, at approximately 11:59pm EST, and each randomly selected winner will be contacted soon thereafter via Blu-ray.com PM. Description: After a series of plagues and wars leaves society in ruins, the Freemans are surviving — even thriving — on a farm in the middle of nowhere... so long as they repel the occasional raiding party. Former soldier Hailey (Danielle Deadwyler) and her partner Galen (Michael Greyeyes) fled the collapse along with their children, training them to fight (and, yes, kill). But now Hailey's eldest Emanuel (Kataem O'Connor) is a young man, and when he meets a young woman (Milcania Diaz-Rojas) in the forest beyond the fence, his need for human contact could place the whole family in jeopardy.
