Vestron: Hider in the House Heading to Blu-ray

Vestron Video and Lionsgate Home Entertainment are preparing a Blu-ray release of Matthew Patrick's Hider in the House (1989), starring Gary Busey, Mimi Rogers, Michael McKean, Kurt Christopher Kinder, and Candace Hutson. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on October 14.

Description: When Julie and Phil Dreyer (Daytime Emmy® nominee Mimi Rogers and Oscar® nominee Michael McKean) and their two kids move into their dream home in an idyllic suburban community, they have no idea it is about to become their worst nightmare. Unbeknownst to the Dreyers, deranged criminal psychopath Tom Sykes (Oscar® nominee Gary Busey) — released after 18 years in a mental institution for the brutal murder of his parents — had taken up residence in the attic of their recently built home. Obsessed with Julie and secretly stalking the unsuspecting family from within the house, Sykes unleashes a campaign of terror against anyone who stands in the way of the family he now claims as his own.
