Australian label Imprint Films has informed us that it will add two new Asian titles to its catalog. They are: Shaw-Shock: Shaw Brothers Horror Collection – Volume Two (1960-1974) and Intimate Confessions of a Chinese Courtesan / Lust For Love of a Chinese Courtesan (1972-1984). The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on November 26.

The Enchanting Shadow
A down-on-his-luck young man reluctantly stays at a haunted temple, where he encounters a ghost who lures victims to their death with her beauty.
Directed by Li Han-hsiang, and starring Betty Loh Ti and Zhao Lei, this colourful, macabre picture is rooted in Chinese historical texts and based on a short story by Qing dynasty writer Pu Songling, described as "a captivating slice of Shaw Brothers in gothic mode" (Eastern Kicks).

A young merchant marries a woman who is thought to be possessed by the spirit of a girl murdered twenty years ago. Director Chou Hsu-Chiang brought this ghostly tale to life with stars Margaret Hsing Hui, Yang Fan, Lui Ming, and Carrie Ku Mei.
