British distributors 88 Films have detailed their upcoming Blu-ray release of Ruggero Deodato's film The Barbarians (1987), starring Peter Paul, David Paul, Richard Lynch, Eva LaRue, and Michael Berryman. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on October 27.

Twin barbarians, Gore and Kutcheck, set off on a mission to avenge their tribe, The Ragnicks, who were brutally massacred years before by an evil warlord simply named Kadar. This amazing looking and engrossing action-packed movie from the much-missed Cannon Group is loaded with montages of oiled-up biceps and clashing blades. Cult favourites Richard Lynch and Michael Berryman bring gravitas to the experience, which will have you wanting more from the oiled-up, mullet-bearing warriors!
