Australian label Imprint Films has informed us that it is preparing a Limited Edition Hardbox 4K Blu-ray of Guy Hamilton's Battle of Britain (1969), starring Harry Andrews, Michael Caine, Trevor Howard, Curd Jürgens, and Ian McShane. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on November 26.
Description: After the tremendous success of our 2024 release of A Bridge Too Far, we are thrilled to nosedive back into combat with this aviation spectacular. Filled with extraordinarily large-scale flying sequences and heart-stopping assaults, director Guy Hamilton (Goldfinger) pulled off a miracle bringing this film to life, which was captured by Academy Award-winning cinematographer Freddie Young (Lawrence of Arabia).
Featuring an all-star cast including Laurence Olivier, Michael Caine, and Christopher Plummer, this NEW Dolby Vision presentation was restored at Fidelity in Motion and is housed in a Limited Edition 3-Disc hardbox with an exclusive 100-page hardback booklet.
