British label Curzon Film World is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Mathieu Kassovitz's The Crimson Rivers (2000), starring Jean Reno, Vincent Cassel, Nadia Farès, Dominique Sanda, and Jean-Pierre Cassel. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on October 13.
Description: Jean Reno and Vincent Cassel star in this grisly French crime thriller, co-written and directed by Mathieu Kassovitz (La Haine) and newly restored in 4K.
Two French policemen - one an experienced detective, the other a reckless rookie - are brought together by the clues from their respective cases. As more murders occur, the two cops uncover an increasing number of horrific details that all point to a dark conspiracy.
