For the week that ended on July 26th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's
Final Destination Bloodlines topped both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media and UHD Sellers charts in its debut. The sixth and latest entry in the
Final Destination franchise opened in May 2025 to surprisingly positive reviews and even better financial results, topping the box office on its opening weekend (with over $51 million, a franchise record) despite the previous entry in the series,
Final Destination 5, having opened fourteen years ago in 2011. But while the film fell from the top spot in its second weekend, it kept making money, eventually grossing over $138 million domestically and over $285 million worldwide. This week,
Final Destination Bloodlines had an HD share of 56%, with 24% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, enough to top the UHD Sellers chart for the week, as well.
Dropping to second place on both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts is Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's
Sinners (2025). The horror film from director Ryan Coogler, starring Michael B. Jordan in dual roles, opened in April 2025 to critical acclaim and box office success, eventually grossing over $278 million domestically and over $365 million worldwide. This week,
Sinners sold 61% as many Blu-ray units as
Final Destination Bloodlines, with an HD share of 64% and 38% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.
Third place on the Blu-ray-only chart this week went to Paramount Home Media Distribution's
Small Soldiers. Joe Dante's 1998 action comedy was released on 4K UHD for the first time anywhere in the world this week and sold 37% as many Blu-ray units as
Final Destination Bloodlines, with a perfect HD share of 100% and 99% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, putting it just behind
Bloodlines on the UHD Sellers chart for the week.
Elsewhere on the charts, Arrow Video's
Cobra (1986), which was released on 4K UHD by Arrow Video this week, came in at No. 4 on the Blu-ray-only chart, while the Criterion Collection's Blu-ray and 4K UHD release of
Carnal Knowledge came in at No. 10. Outside the top ten, RLJE Films'
Ash (2025) debuted at No. 11, while Arrow's
The Stuff, which received a 4K UHD upgrade this week, came in at No. 15 and another Criterion Blu-ray and 4K UHD premiere,
You Can Count on Me, came in at No. 16.
