Blu-ray Sales: July 13-19: Sinners Still Number One in Second Week

For the week that ended on July 19th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Sinners (2025) remained on top of both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media and UHD Sellers charts in its second week. The horror film from director Ryan Coogler, starring Michael B. Jordan in dual roles, opened in April 2025 to critical acclaim and box office success, eventually grossing over $278 million domestically and over $365 million worldwide. This week, Sinners again had a strong HD share of 65%, with 36% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, enough to also top the UHD Sellers chart for the second week in a row.

Second place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's A Minecraft Movie topped the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its second week. Based on the popular video game series, A Minecraft Movie opened in April 2025 to positive reviews and big box office, eventually totaling over $423 million domestically alone and almost $1 billion worldwide thus far. This week, A Minecraft Movie sold 29% as many Blu-ray units as Sinners, with an HD share of 39% and 8% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Remaining in third place on the Blu-ray-only chart in its second week is 20th Century Studios' The Amateur (2025). A remake of the 1981 film of the same name (itself adapted from a novel by Robert Littell), the 2025 version of The Amateur opened in cinemas in April 2025 to mixed reviews and grossed $40 million domestically and $96 million globally against a reported $60 million budget. This week, The Amateur sold 23% as many Blu-ray units as Sinners, with a perfect HD share of 100% and 6% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Elsewhere on the charts, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Fury (2014), which received a new 4K UHD edition this week, came in at No. 8, while on the UHD Sellers chart, Kino Lorber's release of Shane 4K (1953) came in at No. 10.
