British label Dazzler Media will release on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Conor McPherson's Girl From the North Country (2025), starring Austin Scott, Kimber Elayne Sprawl, Todd Almond, and Caitlin Houlahan. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on July 21.
Set in 1934 Duluth, Minnesota, during the Great Depression, Girl from the North Country centers on Nick Laine, who struggles to keep his guesthouse afloat amidst financial ruin.
His wife, Elizabeth, battles dementia, while their adopted daughter, Marianne, harbors a secret pregnancy. The guesthouse becomes a refuge for a diverse group of drifters, each grappling with their own hardships.
