we told you that Wal-Mart would offer the
Sony BDP-S360 for $148 starting this weekend. Now Amazon has reduced the price of the upper-tier
Panasonic DMP-BD80 to $157.81 at the time of writing. That is to say, a first-brand BD player, with BonusView and BD-Live, advanced audio decoding, video streaming and multichannel analog audio outputs can be had for under $160.
Alternately, for about $20 less, you can get the
DMP-BD60, which doesn't include multichannel outputs.
