Australian label Imprint Films has announced its September batch of Blu-ray releases. They are: The Hitchcock Nine (1925-1929), Hitchcock: The Early Years - Volume One (1931-1935), The Thirty-Nine Steps / The Lady Vanishes (1978-1979), The Cinema of Powell and Pressburger: Collection One (1939-1947), and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour: Season One (1962).
THE HITCHCOCK NINE (1925 - 1929)
35 years before Psycho, 22 years before Rope, and 15 years before Foreign Correspondent, the great Alfred Hitchcock was at work in the vast world of silent cinema.
His nine surviving silent films are brought together for the first time in this special collection from restorations by the BFI National Archives, accompanied by NEW and archival music options, and loaded with brand NEW Special Features.

HITCHCOCK: THE EARLY YEARS - VOLUME ONE (1931 - 1935)
After establishing his career with silent films, Alfred Hitchcock rode the wave of sound revolution, and further developed his style of dark drama, gripping thrillers, and black comedy.
This first volume of Hitchcock's Early Years takes you on a trip to the 1930s, showcasing his evolution from theatrical dramas to the stylish suspense films that would define his legacy:
