Raro Video is preparing a Blu-ray release of Silvio Amadio's The Medium a.k.a. Il Medium (1980), starring Vincent Mannari Jr., Sherry Buchanan, Martine Brochard, and Philippe Leroy. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on August 12.
Description: The Medium is an insidiously creepy supernatural horror film from director Silvio Amadio (Amuck!). Following the death of his wife, an American music composer (Guido Mannari) moves to an old mansion in Rome with his young son. They are soon haunted by a series of inexplicable events, causing them to hire a medium to divine the true nature of their seemingly cursed existence.
