For the week of May 26th, Ketchup Entertainment will release Peter Browngardt's The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie, featuring the voices of Eric Bauza, Candi Milo, Peter MacNicol, Carlos Alazraqui, Kimberly Brooks and Peter Browngardt.

Description: A brand new buddy comedy starring Porky Pig and Daffy Duck! This richly-crafted, hand-drawn 2D animated adventure marks the first fully-animated feature-length film in Looney Tunes history, told on a scope and scale that's truly out of this world.

New on Blu-ray from Kino Lorber is Emma Seligman's Bottoms, starring Rachel Sennott, Ayo Edebiri, Ruby Cruz, Havana Rose Liu, Kaia Gerber and Nicholas Galitzine.

Description: In this refreshingly unique comedy directed by Emma Seligman (Shiva Baby), two girls, PJ (Rachel Sennott, Saturday Night) and Josie (Ayo Edebiri, TV's The Bear), start a fight club as a way to lose their virginities to cheerleaders. And their bizarre plan works! The fight club gains traction, and soon the most popular girls in school are beating each other up in the name of self-defense. But PJ and Josie find themselves in over their heads and in need of a way out before their plan is exposed.

Kino's Blu-ray of Bottoms includes two audio commentaries: one with Rachel Sennott, Ayo Edebiri, Ruby Cruz, Havana Rose Liu and Kaia Gerber and another with Emma Seligman. Also included are deleted scenes, outtakes, the featurette Ride Along: The Making of Bottoms and a theatrical trailer.

Also new on Blu-ray from Kino is Jessica Palud's Being Maria, starring Anamaria Vartolomei, Matt Dillon, Céleste Brunnquell, Giuseppe Maggio, Yvan Attal and Marie Gillain.

Description: Maria Schneider (Anamaria Vartolomei) is a promising, young French actress. When she gets the lead in a feature film directed by an acclaimed Italian filmmaker and starring one of America's most beloved actors, it seems like the opportunity of a lifetime. Her collaborators, director Bernardo Bertolucci and star Marlon Brando (Matt Dillon) seem to be bringing out the best in Maria, sharing a warm rapport and mentorship with the 19-year old girl. Until one day, when the two men conspire to shoot a crucial sex scene as a harrowing assault without letting Maria in on the plan. The film goes on to be lauded as a fearless artistic breakthrough, but for Maria, it's the beginning of a living hell. Based on the behind-the-scenes true story of the making of Last Tango in Paris, Jessica Palud's sensitive biopic centers Maria's story for the first time.

Kino's Blu-ray of Being Maria contains a Film at Lincoln Center Q&A with Anamaria Vartolomei and Matt Dillon, an interview with author Vanessa Schneider and producer Marielle Duigo from The American French Film Festival and a theatrical trailer.

A Blu-ray box set for the Audie Murphy Collection IV (1950-1954), a three-disc set which includes Kurt Neumann's The Kid from Texas (1950), Budd Boetticher's The Cimarron Kid (1950) and Nathan Juran's Drums Across the River (1954). Extras include audio commentary by film historian / screenwriter Gary Gerani (on The Kid from Texas) and by author / screenwriter C. Courtney Joyner and film historian Henry Parke (on The Cimarron Kid and Drums Across the River), as well as newly remastered theatrical trailers for all three films.

A Blu-ray for Graham Stark's The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins (1971), starring Leslie Phillips, Julie Ege, Patrick Newell, June Whitfield, Harry Secombe and Cheryl Hall. Kino's Blu-ray contains interviews with cinematographer Harvey Harrison, still photographer Keith Hamshere and actress Audrey Nicholson, as well as the film's theatrical trailer.

A Blu-ray for Ferdinand Fairfax's Nate and Hayes (AKA Savage Islands) (1983), starring Tommy Lee Jones, Michael O'Keefe, Max Phipps, Jenny Seagrove, Grant Tilly and Peter Rowley. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Kino presents Nate and Hayes with a new audio commentary by film historian and author Dwayne Epstein as well as a second audio commentary by action film historians Mike Leeder and Russell Wait.

A 4K UHD release for Stephen Surjik's Wayne's World 2 (1993), starring Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, Christopher Walken, Tia Carrere, Chris Farley and Ralph Brown. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Kino presents Wayne's World 2 with a choice of lossless 5.1 or 2.0 audio tracks and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include audio commentary by Stephen Surjik, while an included remastered Blu-ray additionally contains the featurette Extreme Close-Up, US and UK TV spots and a theatrical trailer.

A 4K UHD release for Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly's Kingpin (1996), starring Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid, Vanessa Angel, Bill Murray, Chris Elliott and William Jordan. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Kino presents the PG-13 theatrical version of Kingpin with a choice of lossless 5.1 or 2.0 audio tracks and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include a new audio commentary by entertainment journalists / authors Bryan Reesman and Max Evry, while an included Blu-ray contains remastered versions of both the theatrical and R-rated extended cuts of the film, audio commentary on the extended cut with Peter and Bobby Farrelly, the featurette Kingpins - Extra Frames with the Farrelly Brothers and a theatrical trailer.

And finally from Kino is a Blu-ray for Mike Hodges' I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (2003), starring Clive Owen, Charlotte Rampling, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Malcolm McDowell, Jamie Foreman and Ken Stott. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Kino presents I'll Sleep When I'm Dead with audio commentary by Mike Hodges and writer Trevor Preston, the featurette Mike Hodges and I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, deleted scenes and a theatrical trailer.

New on Blu-ray from Paramount Home Media Distribution is Yellowstone: Season 5 - Part 2 (2024). The three-disc set contains the final six episodes of the fifth season, along with over two hours of extras, including the featurettes Redemption: A Season of Change, Moments in Time with Photographer Emerson Miller, The Heartbeat of Yellowstone: Chief Joseph Ranch and seven Stories from the Bunkhouse featurettes, as well as a recap of Season 5 - Part 1. Also included is a set of prints by Miller.

New on Blu-ray from A24 is Luca Guadagnino's Queer, starring Daniel Craig, Drew Starkey, Jason Schwartzman, Henrique Zaga, Drew Droege and Andra Ursuta.

Description: In 1950s Mexico City, William Lee (Daniel Craig), an American ex-pat in his late forties, leads a solitary life amidst a small American community. However, the arrival in town of Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey), a young student, stirs William into finally establishing meaningful connection with someone. Adapting the novel by countercultural icon William S. Burroughs, acclaimed director Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, Challengers) renders a heartfelt, mind-altering portrait of love and longing.

A24's Blu-ray of Queer contains the film's Dolby Atmos audio. Extras include audio commentary with Luca Guadagnino, costume designer Jonathan W. Anderson, writer Justin Kuritzkes, editor Marco Costa and production designer Stefano Baisi, the featurette Diverso: The Making of Queer, a scene breakdown, a VFX breakdown, a miniatures behind-the-scenes and a music video for "Te Maldigo". Also included is a set of six postcards.

New on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Well Go USA is Donnie Yen's The Prosecutor (誤判) (2024), starring Donnie Yen, Julian Cheung, Kang Yu, Kent Cheng, Francis Ng and Michael Hui.

Description: Inspired by an actual legal case in Hong Kong, THE PROSECUTOR follows the story of a man who falsely pleads guilty to drug trafficking after being framed. Despite the confession, the veteran policeman-turned-prosecutor (Donnie Yen) handling the case is convinced of the man's innocence and pursues his own investigation, risking both his career and his life to bring the real perpetrator to justice.

Well Go USA's Blu-ray releases of The Prosecutor contain the film's original Cantonese: Dolby Atmos audio (with optional English or French subtitles, as well as an English dub) and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. New on Blu-ray from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is Barry Levinson's The Alto Knights, starring Robert De Niro, Debra Messing, Cosmo Jarvis, Kathrine Narducci, Michael Rispoli and Robert Uricola.

Description: The film follows two of New York's most notorious organized crime bosses, Frank Costello (De Niro) and Vito Genovese (De Niro), as they vie for control of the city's streets. Once the best of friends, petty jealousies and a series of betrayals place them on a deadly collision course that will reshape the Mafia (and America) forever.

New on Blu-ray from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is Jaume Collet-Serra's The Woman in the Yard, starring Danielle Deadwyler, Okwui Okpokwasili, Peyton Jackson, Estella Kahiha and Russell Hornsby.

Description: "When the sun is bright and the wind is still, she comes to you like a sudden chill. Draped in black from head to toe, how she got there, you'll never know." With that cryptic warning, an otherworldly woman sends a family into a seemingly inescapable nightmare. Already grieving the death of her husband, Ramona faces a new fear when this mysterious figure appears outside her farmhouse. With the woman continually creeping closer, Ramona must protect her children from the chilling grasp of this haunting entity whose unknown intentions are anything but peaceful. Universal's Blu-ray of The Woman in the Yard contains a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 audio track. Extras include the featurettes Making The Woman in the Yard and Beneath the Veil.

Also new from Universal is a Blu-ray for Wendy Sachs' documentary October 8.

Description: October 8 offers a look at the eruption of antisemitism on college campuses, social media and in the streets of America beginning the day after the October 7th attack on Israel by Hamas. New on Blu-ray from Shout Factory and GKIDS is Naoko Yamada's anime film The Colors Within (きみの色), starring Akari Takaishi, Aoi Yűki, Minako Kotobuki, Keiko Toda, Yui Aragaki.

Description: From director Naoko Yamada (A Silent Voice, Liz and the Blue Bird ) comes a beautiful coming-of-age story featuring music by Kensuke Ushio (Chainsaw Man, DAN DA DAN ). Totsuko has a unique way of seeing the world – she can see colorful auras around people, though she isn't able to see her own. She finds herself drawn to her classmate Kimi, who glows with the most beautiful color of all. To get closer to Kimi, Totsuko forms a band with her and Rui, a quiet musician who plays the theremin. As the newfound friends develop the sound of their music, they start to uncover the desires driving the heart of their songs.

Shout's Blu-ray of The Colors Within contains both Japanese and English audio tracks. Also coming from Shout is a 4K UHD upgrade for Martin Brest's Scent of a Woman (1992), starring Al Pacino, Chris O'Donnell, James Rebhorn, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Gabrielle Anwar and Bradley Whitford. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative (supervised by Martin Brest), Shout presents Scent of a Woman with a choice of DTS-HD MA 2.0 or 5.1 audio tracks and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include One Last Tour of the Battlefield: Directing Scent of a Woman: A new interview with Martin Brest and Just Tango On: Editing Scent of a Woman: A new interview with co-editor Michael Tronick.

Finally from Shout is a 4K UHD upgrade for Kerry Conran's Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004), starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law, Angelina Jolie, Giovanni Ribisi, Michael Gambon and Bai Ling. Sourced from a new 4K master, Shout presents Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow with a choice of DTS-HD MA 5.1 or 2.0 audio tracks and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include two legacy audio commentaries: one with Kerry Conran, production designer Kevin Conran, animation director Steve Yamamoto and visual effects supervisor Darin Hollings, and another with producer Jon Avnet, the two-part making of featurette Brave New World, the featurettes The Art of World of Tomorrow and Anatomy of a Virtual Scene, the original short film, deleted scenes, a gag reel and theatrical trailers.

New on Blu-ray from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is Outlander: The Complete Seventh Season (2023-2024). The six-disc set contains all 16 episodes of the seventh season, along with four bonus scenes, deleted scenes and a gag reel. In addition to standard packaging, a Collector's Edition will also be available, which includes a "a 24-page booklet with behind the scenes photos, storyboard images and a set of collector cards".

Turning to catalog titles, the Criterion Collection has a Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for the double feature The Three Musketeers / The Four Musketeers: Two Films by Richard Lester (1973-1974), starring (across both films) Oliver Reed, Raquel Welch, Richard Chamberlain, Michael York, Frank Finlay and Christopher Lee. Sourced from new 4K masters, Criterion presents both The Three Musketeers (1973) and The Four Musketeers (1974) with LPCM Mono audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD discs. Extras include the new four-part documentary Two for One by David Cairns, the two-part documentary The Saga of the Musketeers (2002), the vintage featurette The Making of "The Three Musketeers" (1973) and trailers for both films. Also coming from Criterion is a Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for Charles Burnett's Killer of Sheep (1978), starring Henry Gayle Sanders, Kaycee Moore, Charles Bracy, Angela Burnett, Eugene Cherry and Jack Drummond. Sourced from a new 4K master (approved by Charles Burnett), Criterion presents Killer of Sheep with LPCM Mono audio and in 4K SDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include audio commentary with Charles Burnett and film scholar Richard Peńa, new interviews with Burnett and Henry Gayle Sanders, a new appreciation by filmmaker Barry Jenkins, Burnett's short films Several Friends (1969) and The Horse (1973), a new introduction to The Horse by Burnett, an interview with with Burnett by film scholar Jacqueline Stewart from the 2010 UCLA LA Rebellion Oral History Project, Robert Townsend's documentary A Walk with Charles Burnett (2019) a 2007 documentary on the cast reunion by Ross Lipman and a trailer for the film. Also included is essay by critic Danielle Amir Jackson.

Finally this week, Walt Disney Home Entertainment and 20th Century Studios have a 4K UHD upgrade for Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven (2005), starring Orlando Bloom, Eva Green, Jeremy Irons, David Thewlis, Brendan Gleeson and Marton Csokas. Sourced from a new 4K master, Disney presents both the director's cut and the director's cut roadshow versions of Kingdom of Heaven on 4K UHD with a new Dolby Atmos audio mix and Dolby Vision HDR. An included remastered Blu-ray disc contains both cuts with DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio. Extras include three audio commentaries on the roadshow version, The Engineer's Guide and an introduction to the director's cut by Ridley Scott (on Blu-ray and 4K UHD), while a second Blu-ray disc contains hours of legacy video extras, including the feature-length documentary The Path to Redemption, deleted and extended scenes (with optional commentary), a feature-length interactive production grid, dozens of other featurettes and much more.
