For the week that ended on April 26th, Paramount Home Media Distribution's Sonic the Hedgehog 3 remained on top of both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its second week. The third film in the series, (which was announced before Sonic the Hedgehog 2 even released in 2022) finds the iconic SEGA character facing off with the mysterious villain Shadow the Hedgehog. It opened in December 2024 to both positive reviews and box office success, eventually grossing over $236 million domestically and over $492 million worldwide. This week, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 had an HD share of 51%, with 51% of units sold from the 4K UHD combo pack format.

Coming in second place on the Blu-ray-only chart is Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Tombstone. The now-classic western starring Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer was propelled back into the charts by a 4K UHD release for its 30th anniversary (albeit available only in SteelBook packaging, which is currently sold out as of this writing) and sold 68% as many Blu-ray units as Sonic the Hedgehog 3, with an HD share of 94% and 87% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Rising up to third place on the Blu-ray-only chart is Toho's Godzilla: Minus One. Toho's 33rd Godzilla film was a smash hit both in Japan and internationally, grossing as much as $116 million worldwide (on a reported budget of between $10-15 million) and going on to win the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, becoming the first non-English-language film to win that award. This week, Godzilla: Minus One sold 36% as many Blu-ray units as Sonic the Hedgehog 3, with an HD share of 85% and 73% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Elsewhere on the charts, Kino Lorber's Sneakers, which was released on remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD this week, came in at No. 20 on the Blu-ray-only chart and No. 12 on the UHD Sellers chart, while Kino's Career Opportunities 4K came in at No. 20 on the UHD Sellers chart.
