BBC Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring a number of Doctor
Who specials to Blu-ray on February 2nd, day-and-date with the DVD release.
These include the next Doctor Who special '
Doctor Who:
The Waters of Mars' and the '
Doctor Who: Two-
Part Finale'. Also available on that date will be a five-disc '
Doctor Who: Specials Collection'.
'Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars' will premier on December 19th on BBC
American. The two-part finale has yet to be scheduled, but should air sometime
over the holiday season.
The five-disc 'Doctor Who: Specials Collection' set will feature 'Doctor Who: The
Next Doctor' (not currently scheduled for individual Blu-ray release), '
Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead', 'Doctor Who: Waters of Mars'
and the 'Doctor Who: Two-Part Finale'.
Special features and technical specs have yet to be announced.
