Mondo Vision will release on 4K Blu-ray Andrzej Zulawski's On the Silver Globe (1988). The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on May 31.

Yet in 1987, as Gorbachev's winds of change swept through Eastern Europe, Polish authorities relented, granting Zulawski the rare privilege to complete his work.

This stunning 4K restoration, supervised and approved by the film's original cinematographer Andrzej Jaroszewicz, brings the film to life like never before. Uncut. Uncensored. Uncompromised. Presented in its original 1.66:1 aspect ratio and featuring the original Polish Mono DTS-HD Master Audio, this meticulously authored triple-layer UHD disc preserves the haunting textures and raw visual power of one of cinema's most mythic, misunderstood masterpieces.

This edition of Na Srebrnym Globie features a fully illustrated, matte-laminated finish with Spot Gloss accents throughout, all packaged in a heavy-duty hardcover box with a magnetic enclosure. The interior of the box is wrapped in special satin paper in an ivory color and includes a foldout, matte-laminated 6-panel digipak with gloss black trays to hold the discs. A hardcover magnetic pocket stores the 68-page booklet and the remaining contents. The Spot Gloss detailing continues throughout the interior presentation.
