Scream Factory and Shout Factory have announced their July batch of 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases. They are: Battle Beyond the Stars (1980), Strangers with Candy (2006), The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023), RoboCop 2 (1990), Wallace & Gromit: The Complete Cracking Collection (1989-2008), Grave of the Fireflies (1988), Alexander Revisited: The Final Cut (2004), and Primary Colors (1998).
Battle Beyond the Stars 4K Blu-ray
Shad must scour the cosmos to recruit mercenaries from different planets and cultures, in order to save his peaceful home planet from the threat of the evil tyrant Sador, bent on dominating and enslaving the entire universe. Joining this "magnificant seven" of mercenaries are the deadly Gelt, carefree Cowboy, and the sexy Valkyrie Saint-Exmin.

Strangers with Candy
Runaway Jerri Blank returns home at the age of 47 ready to pick up where she left off. This means the ex-con and former drug addict is returning to high school as a freshman. Going through adolescent doldrums and temptations is tough enough for any student, but as a middle-aged drug abuser, Jerri discovers her return to education is more challenging than she ever imagined.

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective 4K Blu-ray SteelBook
When the dolphin mascot of Miami's NFL team is abducted, Ace Ventura, a zany private investigator who specializes in finding missing animals, looks into the case. Soon Miami Dolphins players are kidnapped too, including star player Dan Marino, making Ace's sleuth work even more pressing. Working with Dolphins representative Melissa Robinson, Ace closes in on the culprits, but not before many ridiculous misadventures.

The Last Voyage of the Demeter 4K Blu-ray SteelBook
Based on a single chapter, the Captain's Log, from Bram Stoker's classic 1897 novel "Dracula," the story is set aboard the Russian schooner, Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo—twenty-four unmarked wooden crates—from Carpathia to London. The film details the strange events that befell the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked each night by a terrifying presence on board the ship. When it finally arrived near Whitby Harbour, it was a derelict. There was no trace of the crew.
