Summit Entertainment has announced that it will release Kathryn Bigelow's '
The Hurt Locker' on Blu-ray on January 12, 2010, day-and date with the DVD. This war film, which follows an army explosive ordnance disposal unit during its tour of duty in Iraq in 2004, received critical acclaim and awards when it was presented at film festivals, including Venice and Toronto.
