For the week that ended on March 29th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Moana 2 remained atop both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its second week. After Moana grossed over $687 million worldwide back in 2016, Disney planned to continue the story via a miniseries, but made the pivot to a theatrical film in February 2024 after viewing early footage, The sequel opened in November that year to mixed reviews, but became a financial juggernaut, taking in over $460 million domestically and over $1.059 billion worldwide (thus far!), becoming the third highest-grossing film of 2024, behind only Disney's own Deadpool & Wolverine and Inside Out 2. This week, Moana 2 had an HD share of 42%, with just 1% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, which was only available as a Limited Edition SteelBook.

Remaining in second place on the Blu-ray-only chart in its eighth week is Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Wicked (2024). The hotly anticipated film adaptation of the hit 2003 musical topped the box office on its first weekend in November 2024, en route to over $473 million domestically and over $747 million globally. Upon opening, the film was revealed to adapt only part of the story, and a sequel, Wicked: For Good, is set to release November 2025. The film earned ten Oscar nominations and won two, for Best Costume Design and Best Production Design. This week, Wicked sold 66% as many Blu-ray units as Moana 2, with an HD share of 52% and 17% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Third place on the Blu-ray-only chart went to the Paramount Home Media Distribution's Tommy Boy, which was released on 4K UHD for its 30th anniversary. This week, Tommy Boy sold 53% as many Blu-ray units as Moana 2, with an HD share of 86% and 85% of units sold from the 4K UHD format, enough to make it the week's top-selling 4K UHD release.

Elsewhere on the Blu-ray-only chart, Paramount's Star Trek: Lower Decks: The Final Season (2024) and Star Trek: Lower Decks - The Complete Series (2020-2024) debuted at Nos. 5 and 7, respectively, while Night Moves (1975), which was released on remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD by the Criterion Collection this week, came in at No. 17.

Elsewhere on the UHD Sellers chart, Criterion's Night Moves 4K came in at No. 14, while Shout Factory's Night of the Creeps 4K and Kino Lorber's Black Sheep 4K (1996) came in just behind at Nos. 15 and 16.
