Decal Releasing and Neon will bring to 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Osgood Perkins' The Monkey (2024), starring Christian Convery, Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, and Laura Mennell. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on June 24.
Dubbed "the most outrageous horror movie of the year," THE MONKEY is adapted from the Stephen King short story and produced by James Wan (THE CONJURING, SAW). When twin brothers find a mysterious wind-up monkey, a series of outrageous deaths tear their family apart. Twenty-five years later, the monkey begins a new killing spree forcing the estranged brothers to confront the cursed toy.
The film marks NEON's second collaboration with Perkins, and the studio's second-largest theatrical opening, trailing only Perkins' previous film LONGLEGS. To date, THE MONKEY has grossed over $39 million at the U.S. box office, and over $60 million globally, making it the studio's third highest-grossing film of all time.
