The British Film Institute has provided a promotional trailer and final details for its upcoming Blu-ray release of Simon Perry's Eclipse(1977), starring Tom Conti, Gay Hamilton, Gavin Wallace, Paul Kermack, and David Steuart. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on April 21.
Description: BFI Flipside's latest rediscovery is Eclipse, a film practically unseen since a limited cinema release in 1977.
In Simon Perry's eerie, atmospheric psychological thriller, Tom Conti (Oppenheimer, Slade in Flame) stars as a bereaved brother troubled by memories of his twin, who he saw die at sea.
Strange and unsettling in the tradition of the best Flipsides, Eclipse now finds safe harbor on Blu-ray disc for the first time worldwide, in a new scan made from the best-available 35mm archival materials.
