For the week of March 24th, A24 will release Brady Corbet's The Brutalist, starring Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Alessandro Nivola, Stacy Martin and Joe Alwyn.

Description: Escaping post-war Europe, visionary architect László Toth (Adrien Brody) arrives in America to rebuild his life, his work, and his marriage to his wife Erzsébet (Felicity Jones) after being forced apart during wartime by shifting borders and regimes. On his own in a strange new country, László settles in Pennsylvania, where the wealthy and prominent industrialist Harrison Lee Van Buren (Guy Pearce) recognizes his talent for building. But power and legacy come at a heavy cost...

A24's releases of The Brutalist feature DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio, while the 4K UHD edition is presented in 4K SDR. Extras include audio commentary with director of photography Lol Crawley and the 25-minute featurette The Architects of The Brutalist. Digipack packaging also includes post cards with with architectural renderings by John Burgoyne.

New on Blu-ray from IFC Films is Adam Elliot's Memoir of a Snail, starring Eric Bana, Sarah Snook, Jacki Weaver, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Magda Szubanski and Dominique Pinon.

Description: Memoir of a Snail is a poignant and heartfelt chronicle of the life of Grace Pudel, a lonely misfit with an affinity for collecting ornamental snails and an intense love of romance novels. At a young age, when she's separated from her twin brother, she falls into a spiral of anxiety and angst. Despite a continued series of hardships, inspiration and hope emerge when she strikes up an enduring friendship with an elderly eccentric woman named Pinky. As she slowly learns to let go of the clutter in her home and her mind, Grace starts to find her confidence and the courage to love again.

IFC Films' Blu-ray of Memoir of a Snail includes audio commentary with Adam Elliot, a Q&A with Elliot and Jacki Weaver, an interview with Sarah Snook, making of and behind-the-scenes, as well as the featurette Magic of Stop Motion.

New on Blu-ray from Paramount Home Media Distribution is Star Trek: Lower Decks: The Final Season (2024). The two-disc set contains all 10 episodes of the fifth and final season, along with audio commentaries and a featurette. On the same day, Paramount will also release Star Trek: Lower Decks - The Complete Series (2020-2024) in Limited Edition SteelBook packaging. The 10-disc set with all five seasons is set to be released in standard packaging on April 15th, 2025.

Also coming from Paramount is a 4K UHD upgrade for Peter Segal's Tommy Boy (1995), starring Chris Farley, David Spade, Brian Dennehy, Bo Derek, Dan Aykroyd and Julie Warner. Sourced from a new 4K master (supervised by Peter Segal), Paramount presents Tommy Boy with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio and Dolby Vision HDR. Extras are on an included Blu-ray copy and include audio commentary by Peter Segal, the featurettes Tommy Boy: Behind the Laughter, Stories from the Side of the Road, Just the Two of Us and Growing Up Farley, storyboard comparisons, deleted and extended scenes, alternate takes, a gag reel, photo gallery, TV spots and a theatrical trailer. In addition to standard packaging, both a standard SteelBook and a different Walmart Exclusive SteelBook with Poster will also be available.

New on Blu-ray from BBC Home Entertainment is the nature documentary Asia (2024), presented by David Attenborough.

BBC Home Entertainment's Blu-ray of Asia is a three-disc set with all seven episodes and contains DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio. A 4K UHD edition is not available as of this writing.

New on Blu-ray from Unobstructed View is Charlie Lightening's Trailer Park Boys Presents: Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties (2024), starring Mike Smith, Billy Bob Thornton, Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, Patrick Roach and Ronnie Wood.

Description: While Bubbles and his band, "The Shitrockers," are playing shows around Nova Scotia a viral internet clip lands them a European tour opening for Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters. With Randy as their roadie, they head to Prague but soon get kicked off the tour, busking to survive. Can Ricky and Julian come to the rescue?

Turning to catalog titles, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have more six more titles on Blu-ray from the Warner Archive Collection. They are:

Rex Ingram's The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (1921), starring Rudolph Valentino, Alan Hale, Wallace Beery, Josef Swickard, Arthur Hoyt and Stuart Holmes. Sourced from a 4K scan of the best preservation elements, Warner Archive presents the 1993 Photoplay restoration of The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse with a musical score by Carl Davis in DTS HD-MA 2.0 Stereo.

Clarence Brown's Sadie McKee (1934), starring Joan Crawford, Gene Raymond, Franchot Tone, Edward Arnold, Jean Dixon and Leo G. Carroll. Sourced from a 4K scan of the best preservation elements, Warner Archive presents Sadie McKee with DTS HD-MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include the Looney Tunes short Pop Goes Your Heart, the Merrie Melodies shorts Shake Your Powder Puff and Why Do I Dream Those Dreams (all 1934) and the film's original theatrical trailer.

The triple feature Monogram Matinee Volume One (1949), containing Derwin Abrahams' Mississippi Rhythm, starring Jimmie Davis, Veda Ann Borg, Lee 'Lasses' White, Sue England, James Flavin and Paul Maxey, Ray Taylor's Crashing Thru, starring Whip Wilson, Andy Clyde, Tristram Coffin, Steve Darrell, George J. Lewis and Jan Bryant and Wallace Fox's Western Renegades, starring Johnny Mack Brown, Max Terhune, Jane Adams, Hugh Prosser, Riley Hill and Marshall Reed. Sourced from 4K scans of nitrate and safety archival elements, Warner Archive presents the three films in Monogram Matinee Volume One with DTS HD-MA 2.0 Mono audio.

Hanna-Barbera's The Magilla Gorilla Show: The Complete Series (1964-1967), starring the voices of Allan Melvin, Howard Morris, Jean Vander Pyl, Don Messick, Hal Smith and Doug Young. Sourced from 4K scans of the original camera negatives, Warner Archive presents The Magilla Gorilla Show: The Complete Series with DTS HD-MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include Magilla Theme Song: Live and Unplugged, Mr. Peebles Pet Shop and Here Comes a Star.

Tom Gries' Earth II (1971), starring Gary Lockwood, Scott Hylands, Hari Rhodes, Anthony Franciosa, Mariette Hartley and Gary Merrill. Sourced from a 4K scan of the original camera negative, Warner Archive presents Earth II with DTS HD-MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include the film's original trailer.

George Armitage's Hit Man (1972), starring Bernie Casey, Pam Grier, Lisa Moore, Sam Laws, Candy All and Don Diamond. Sourced from a 4K scan of the original camera negative, Warner Archive presents Hit Man with DTS HD-MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include the film's original theatrical trailer.

Also this week, Kino Lorber has a number of titles coming to Blu-ray and 4K UHD. They are:

Jack Arnold's The Glass Web (1953), starring Edward G. Robinson, John Forsythe, Kathleen Hughes, Marcia Henderson, Hugh Sanders and Jean Willes. Sourced from a new 3D remaster by the 3-D Film Archive, Kino presents The Glass Web in a choice of Blu-ray 3D, 2D or anaglyphic (red / cyan) 3D on a Blu-ray 3D disc. Extras include a new audio commentary by professor and film scholar Jason A. Ney with 3D experts Mike Ballew and Greg Kintz, a 2D theatrical trailer and 2D TV spots. Also included are a pair of 3D glasses for the anaglyphic 3D presentation.

Gilles Grangier's Hi-Jack Highway (Gas-oil) (1955), starring Jean Gabin, Jeanne Moreau, Gaby Basset, Simone Berthier, Charles Bouillaud and Marcel Bozzuffi. Sourced from a new 4K remaster by TF1, Kino presents Hi-Jack Highway in French, with optional English subtitles. Extras include a new audio commentary by film critic and author Simon Abrams and a theatrical trailer.

Luis Buńuel's Diary of a Chambermaid (Le Journal d'une femme de chambre) (1964), starring Jeanne Moreau, Michel Piccoli, Georges Géret, Françoise Lugagne, Jean Ozenne and Daniel Ivernel. Sourced from a 2K master by StudioCanal, Kino presents Diary of a Chambermaid in French, with optional English subtitles. Extras include a new audio commentary by film historian Imogen Sara Smith, the featurette An Angel in the Marshes (2018), an interview with screenwriter Jean-Claude Carričre, a Q&A with Carričre and a theatrical trailer.

A new edition of Elio Petri's The 10th Victim (La decima vittima) (1965), starring Marcello Mastroianni, Ursula Andress, Elsa Martinelli, Salvo Randone, Massimo Serato and Milo Quesada. Sourced from a 2K master, Kino presents The 10th Victim with a choice of Italian (with optional English subtitles) or English audio tracks. Extras include a new audio commentary by film historians Steve Mitchell and Troy Howarth, the featurette Elio Petri: Subject for Further Research (2014) and both Italian and English trailers.

A new edition of Mark L. Lester's Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw (1976), starring Marjoe Gortner, Lynda Carter, Jesse Vint, Merrie Lynn Ross, Belinda Balaski and Peggy Stewart. Previously released in 2015, Kino's Blu-ray of Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw adds a new audio commentary by author John Harrison (Wildcat! The Films of Marjoe Gortner) along with archival audio commentary by Mark L. Lester, interviews with Lester, Merrie Lynn Ross and Belinda Balaski, a theatrical trailer and a drive-in radio spot.

Finally from Kino this week comes a remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD for Penelope Spheeris' Black Sheep (1996), starring Chris Farley, David Spade, Tim Matheson, Christine Ebersole, Gary Busey and Grant Heslov. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, Kino presents Black Sheep with a choice of lossless 5.1 or 2.0 audio tracks and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include a new audio commentary with Penelope Spheeris (moderated by film critic and author Simon Abrams) and a theatrical trailer.

Coming to Blu-ray from Shout Factory is Shaw Brothers Classics, Vol. Six (1970-1974) an eleven-disc box set with the films Shadow Girl, Swordswomen Three, The Twelve Gold Medallions, (all 1970), Duel for Gold, Swordsman at Large (both 1971), The Black Enforcer, The Black Tavern, Finger of Doom, The Young Avenger (all 1972), Na Cha and the Seven Devils (1973) and Crazy Nuts of Kung Fu (1974). All films feature Mandarin: DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio with optional, newly-translated English subtitles. Extras include at least one audio commentary for each film with participants such as film critic James Mudge, film historian Brian Bankston and / or film critic Ian Jane, new featurettes with author Luke White (Legacies of the Drunken Master: Politics of the Body in Hong Kong Kung Fu Comedy Films) on Finger of Doom and Na Cha and the Seven Devils, new interviews for Crazy Nuts of Kung Fu with writer and director Lee Tso-Nam and actors Jack Long and Yu Tai-Ping, as well as image galleries and trailers on select films.

Also coming from Shout is a remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD for Fred Dekker's Night of the Creeps (1986), starring Tom Atkins, Jason Lively, Steve Marshall, Dick Miller, Jill Whitlow and Greg Nicotero. Sourced from a 4K master (approved by Fred Dekker), Shout presents the director's cut of Night of the Creeps with a choice of DTS-HD MA 2.0 Stereo or DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio options and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. New extras include audio commentary with actor Suzanne Snyder and filmmakers Jackson Stewart and Francis Galluppi, as well as a new career retrospective interview with Fred Dekker entitled A New Breed of Terror: The Films of Fred Dekker. Additional extras are spread over the 4K UHD and two Blu-ray discs, including two legacy audio commentaries: one with Fred Dekker and another with Tom Atkins, Jason Lively, Steve Marshall and Jill Whitlow, the original theatrical ending, interviews with actors Jason Lively, Allan Kayser, Ken Heron, Vic Polizos and Suzanne Snyder, as well as editor Michael N. Coming to 4K UHD from Arrow is Lucio Fulci's Don't Torture a Duckling (Non si sevizia un paperino) (1972), starring Florinda Bolkan, Barbara Bouchet, Tomas Milián, Irene Papas, Marc Porel and Georges Wilson. Sourced from a 4K scan of the original camera negative, Arrow presents Don't Torture a Duckling with Dolby Vision HDR and a choice of Italian or English: LPCM Mono audio tracks and English or English SDH subtitles. New extras include an interview with Barbara Bouchet and a theatrical trailer. Additional extras are ported from Arrow's 2017 Blu-ray and include audio commentary with Troy Howarth, a video discussion with Mikel J. Koven, a video essay by Kat Ellinger, audio interviews with Lucio Fulci from 1988 and interviews with Florinda Bolkan, cinematographer Sergio D'Offizi, editor Bruno Micheli and makeup artist Maurizio Trani. Also included is a slipcover, reversible jacket and an "illustrated collector's booklet featuring writing on the film by Barry Forshaw and Howard Hughes". Coming to remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD from the Criterion Collection is Arthur Penn's Night Moves (1975), starring Gene Hackman, Jennifer Warren, Edward Binns, Harris Yulin, Kenneth Mars and Janet Ward. Previously released on Blu-ray in 2017 as part of the Warner Archive Collection, Criterion presents Night Moves from a new 4K master, with LPCM Mono audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include a new audio commentary with Matthew Asprey Gear, a new audio interview with Jennifer Warren, interviews with Arthur Penn from a 1975 episode of Cinema Showcase and from the documentary Arthur Penn: A Love Affair with Film (1995), the archival behind-the-scenes featurette The Day of the Director and a trailer. Also coming from Criterion is a Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for Alan Rudolph's Choose Me (1984), starring Genevičve Bujold, Keith Carradine, Lesley Ann Warren, Patrick Bauchau, Rae Dawn Chong and John Larroquette. Sourced from a new 4K master (supervised by Alan Rudolph and producer David Blocker), Criterion presents Choose Me with LPCM Mono audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include a new conversation between Alan Rudolph and Keith Carradine, new interviews with Rudolph, producer Carolyn Pfeiffer, Blocker and production designer Steven Legler, and excerpts from an interview with Rudolph at the Midnight Sun Film Festival. Also included is an essay by critic Beatrice Loayza.

Finally this week, Blue Underground has a 4K UHD release for Piers Haggard's Venom (1981), starring Sterling Hayden, Klaus Kinski, Sarah Miles, Susan George, Nicol Williamson and Oliver Reed. Sourced from a new 4K master, Blue Underground presents Venom with the choice of a new Dolby Atmos remix, DTS-HD MA 5.1 or DTS-HD MA 2.0 audio tracks and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. New extras include audio commentary by critics Troy Howarth, Nathaniel Thompson and Eugenio Ercolani, new interviews with editor / second unit director Michael Bradsell, makeup artist Nick Dudman, author and critic Kim Newman and Allan Bryce (editor of The Dark Side magazine), as well as a newly expanded poster and still gallery.
