British label Altitude Film Distribution is preparing a Blu-ray release of Walter Salles' I'm Still Here (2024), starring Fernanda Torres, Fernanda Montenegro, Selton Mello, Antonio Saboia, and Maeve Jinkings. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on June 23.
Description: BRAZIL, 1971. Brazil faces the tightening grip of a military dictatorship. Eunice Paiva, a mother of five children, is forced to reinvent herself after her family suffers a violent and arbitrary act by the government.
The film is based on Marcelo Rubens Paiva's biographical book and tells the true story that helped reconstruct an important part of Brazil's hidden history.
