For the week that ended on March 1st, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Wicked (2024) snatched back the top spot on both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its fourth week. The hotly anticipated film adaptation of the hit 2003 musical topped the box office on its first weekend in November 2024, en route to over $473 million domestically and over $733 million globally so far. Upon opening, the film was revealed to adapt only part of the story, and a sequel, Wicked: For Good, is set to release November 2025. The film earned ten Oscar nominations and won two, for Best Costume Design and Best Production Design. This week, Wicked had an HD share of 49%, with 18% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Dropping to second place on both charts in its second week is Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Nosferatu (2024). The latest version of the vampire tale opened in December 2024 to strong reviews and relative box office success, grossing over $95 million domestically and over $179 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing-film for director Robert Eggers. The film also received five BAFTA nominations and four Oscar nominations. This week, Nosferatu sold 96% as many Blu-ray units as Wicked, with an HD share of 63% and 29% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Taking third place on the Blu-ray-only chart is Warner Bros Home Entertainment's Amadeus. Miloš Forman's 1984 biopic of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was nominated for eleven Oscars and won eight, including Best Actor (both F. Murray Abraham (Antonio Salieri) and Tom Hulce (Mozart) were nominated, with Abraham winning), Best Director and Best Picture. However, in 2002, the Oscar-winning theatrical version, already 160 minutes long, was re-cut and expanded to 180 minutes in a version marketed as the "Director's Cut", and it is this version which made it's way to Blu-ray in 2009. In 2024, the Academy Film Archive and the Saul Zaentz Company restored the original theatrical version for the film's 40th anniversary, and so it is this original version which is available on 4K UHD. This week, Amadeus sold 40% as many Blu-ray units as Wicked, with an HD share of 99% and 97% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Elsewhere on the charts, BBC Studios' Blu-ray of Doctor Who: Sylvester McCoy: Complete Season Two (AKA Doctor Who: The Collection - Season 25 in the UK) (1988-1989) came in at No. 9 on the Blu-ray-only chart, while elsewhere on the UHD Sellers chart, Kino Lorber's Graveyard Shift 4K (AKA Stephen King's Graveyard Shift) came in at No. 19.
