For the week that ended on January 11th, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's Se7en (Seven) (1995), which was released on 4K UHD this week, topped the Blu-ray-only and 4K UHD Sellers charts for the week. Now 30 years old (!), the thriller starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman received a new 4K HDR master, supervised by director David Fincher, who also took advantage of digital tools to "resuscitate" the film, resulting in many (mostly minor) changes. Warner issued the film in both a "standard" digipack and a Limited Edition SteelBook. This week, Se7en had a perfect HD share of 100%, with 99.96% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Remaining in second place on the Blu-ray-only chart is the week's top disc seller, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's The Wild Robot. The latest film from DreamWorks Animation opened in September 2024 to critical and audience success, topping the box office with over $35 million on its opening weekend and grossing over $143 million domestically and over $324 million globally so far, on a budget of $78 million. This week, The Wild Robot sold 64% as many Blu-ray units as Se7en, with an HD share of 59% and 30% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

And rising up to the top three Blu-rays for the first time since November 2024 is Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's Twisters. The long-gestating sequel to the 1996 film Twister finally opened in July 2024 to mostly positive reviews and box office success, eventually grossing over $267 million domestically and $370 million worldwide. This week, Twisters sold 54% as many Blu-ray units as Se7en, with an HD share of 70% and 53% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Elsewhere on the charts, Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Armor debuted at No. 16 on the Blu-ray-only chart.
