For the week of January 6th, A24 will release John Crowley's We Live in Time, starring Florence Pugh, Andrew Garfield, Aoife Hinds, Adam James, Douglas Hodge and Amy Morgan.

Description: Almut (Florence Pugh) and Tobias (Andrew Garfield) are brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives. As they embark on a path challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish each moment of the unconventional route their love story has taken, in filmmaker John Crowley's decade-spanning, deeply moving romance.

A24's Blu-ray of We Live in Time contains the film's Dolby Atmos audio. Extras include audio commentary with John Crowley and writer Nick Payne and a making of featurette. In addition to standard packaging, an A24 Shop Exclusive Digipack will also be available.

New on Blu-ray from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is Jason Reitman's Saturday Night, starring Gabriel LaBelle, Rachel Sennott, Cory Michael Smith, Ella Hunt, Dylan O'Brien and Emily Fairn.

Description: At 11:30pm on October 11, 1975, a ferocious troupe of young comedians and writers changed television – and culture – forever. New on Blu-ray from Lionsgate Home Entertainment is Randall Emmett's Armor, starring Sylvester Stallone, Jason Patric, Dash Mihok, Josh Wiggins, Laney Stiebing and Erin Ownbey.

Description: Academy Award Nominee Sylvester Stallone and Jason Patric star in an action-packed, thriller about the lengths one man will go to save what's left of his family and reclaim his own life. James and his son Casey are armored truck drivers tasked with delivering a suspicious package. New on Blu-ray from Kino Lorber is Johan Grimonprez's documentary Soundtrack to a Coup d'Etat.

Description: United Nations, 1960: the Global South ignites a political earthquake, jazz musicians Abbey Lincoln and Max Roach crash the Security Council, Nikita Khrushchev bangs his shoe, and the U.S. State Department swings into action, sending jazz ambassador Louis Armstrong to Congo to deflect attention from the CIA-backed coup. Also coming from Kino this week is a Blu-ray for Bruce Weber's documentary Let's Get Lost (1988), starring Chet Baker, Carol Baker, and Vera Baker. Kino presents Let's Get Lost with Bruce Weber's short films The Beauty Brothers (1987), Backyard Movie (1991), Gentle Giants (1994), The Teddy Boys of the Edwardian Drape Society (1996), Wine and Cupcakes (2007) and Liberty City is Like Paris to Me (2009), as well as a theatrical trailer.

New on Blu-ray from Well Go USA is Vardan Tozija's Beyond the Wasteland (AKA M), starring Matej Sivakov, Sashko Kocev, Aleksandar Nicovski, Kamka Tocinovski, Bojana Gregoric Vejzovic and Verica Nedeska.

Description: Deep in a secluded forest, Marko lives in isolation under the watchful eye of his overprotective father, who is determined to keep his young son safe from the Evil Ones. Deeply lonely, and increasingly curious about the outside world, Marko yearns to uncover the secrets of life beyond the forest and begins venturing further from home. New on Blu-ray from Crunchyroll is the anime series Dead Mount Death Play - Part 2 (デッドマウント・デスプレイ) (2023), starring Yuuki Sakakihara, Inori Minase, Yuma Uchida, Takuya Eguchi, Atsumi Tanezaki and Kazuhiro Yamaji. The Blu-ray contains two discs with 12 episodes in a choice of original Japanese: Dolby TrueHD 2.0 or dubbed English: Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio, along with English subtitles. Dolby TrueHD 2.0 dubs and subtitles in French and German are also provided. Extras include textless opening and closing songs.

Turning to catalog titles, the Criterion Collection has a 4K UHD upgrade for the double feature of Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo / Sanjuro (用心棒 / 椿三十郎) (1961-1962), starring Toshirô Mifune, Tatsuya Nakadai, Takashi Shimura, Hiroshi Tachikawa, Kamatari Fujiwara and Sachio Sakai. Both films are presented from new 4K masters in SDR with a choice of LPCM Mono or DTS-HD MA 3.0 audio options and optional English subtitles. The 4K UHD discs also contain audio commentaries for the films by Kurosawa scholar Stephen Prince, while the included legacy Blu-rays also have documentaries for both films from Toho's Akira Kurosawa: It Is Wonderful to Create series, theatrical teasers and trailers and still galleries. Also included are "essays by film writers Alexander Sesonske and Michael Sragow and comments from Kurosawa and members of his casts and crews". Coming to 4K UHD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is David Fincher's Se7en (Seven) (1995), starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Richard Roundtree, R. Lee Ermey and John C. McGinley. Sourced from a new 4K master (supervised by David Fincher), Warner presents Se7en with HDR and DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio. Extras include four audio commentary tracks. deleted scenes and an alternate ending (with optional commentary), a production design featurette, still galleries (with optional commentary by photographer Melodie McDaniel), a theatrical EPK featurette, a featurette on the mastering for home theater and a featurette on the opening title sequence. Coming to Blu-ray from Arrow Video is the anthology film Rampo Noir (乱歩地獄) (2005), starring Tadanobu Asano, Yűko Daike, Chisako Hara, Mikako Ichikawa, Hanae Kan and Ryűhei Matsuda. Sourced from an HD master, Arrow presents Rampo Noir with its original LPCM 2.0 audio and optional English subtitles. Extras include new audio commentary by Japanese film experts Jasper Sharp and Alexander Zahlten, new interviews with directors Suguru Takeuchi, Hisayasu Sato and Atsushi Kaneko, cinematographers Masao Nakabori and Akiko Ashizawa and actor Yumi Yoshiyuki, stage greeting footage with the cast and directors from the Japanese premiere of the film, Tatsuya Fukushima's feature-length making of documentary Crossing the Lens (2006) and image galleries. Packaging includes a reversible cover. Also included is an "illustrated collector's booklet featuring new writing on the film by Eugene Thacker and Seth Jacobowitz". Finally this week, Shout Factory will release a 4K UHD upgrade for Alister Grierson's Sanctum (2011), starring Richard Roxburgh, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhys Wakefield, Alice Parkinson, Dan Wyllie and Christopher James Baker. Shout presents Sanctum with a choice of DTS-HD MA 5.1 or 2.0 audio options and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. New extras include audio commentary by Emily Higgins and Billy Dunham, while additional extras include archival filmmaker commentary, deleted scenes, the making of documentary Sanctum: The Real Story and the archival documentary Nullarbor Dreaming.
