Kino Lorber are preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Tomas Alfredson's
The Snowman (2017), starring Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jonas Karlsson, and Michael Yates. The release is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
Description: When elite crime squad's lead detective Harry Hole (Michael Fassbender, X-Men series) investigates the disappearance of a victim on the first snow of winter, he fears an elusive serial killer may be active again. With the help of a brilliant recruit (Rebecca Ferguson, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation), the cop must connect decades-old cold cases to the brutal new one if he hopes to outwit this unthinkable evil before the next snowfall.
The film is executive produced by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese (The Wolf of Wall Street, Shutter Island) with a screenplay by Peter Straughan (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Hossein Amini (Drive), and Soren Sveistrup ("The Killing") and photography by Dion Beebe (Edge of Tomorrow, Memoirs of a Geisha).
