Ignite Films will bring to 4K Blu-ray Stuart Gordon's
Re-Animator (1985), starring Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Abbott, Barbara Crampton, David Gale, and Robert Sampson. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market early next year.
In addition to the standard 4K Blu-ray edition, the label will issue several 4K Blu-ray Limited Editions and Standard Blu-ray Edition.
Herbert West, an ambitious medical student, arrives at a New England college after a traumatic incident at a Swiss medical institute. He's obsessed with overcoming death and uses his intelligence to create living beings from dead body parts. He convinces his roommate, Dan Cain, to join him in his experiments, which start with feline tissue and then progress to human cadavers
