Warner Home Video has announced that it will release '
Fame' on Blu-ray on January 26, 2010. Note this is not the recent remake (still unannounced, but also expected for early next year), but the original 1980 movie, directed by Alan Parker. This Blu-ray edition will include a CD sampler with four songs from the movie soundtrack, including the award-winning title track sung by Irene Cara.
Special features include:
- Class reunion commentary with branching video highlights and featuring director Alan Parker and co-Stars Lee Curreri, Laura Dean, Gene Anthony Ray and Maureen Teefy
