Despicable Me 4 had an HD share of 41% and 6% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.
Coming in second place on the Blu-ray-only chart is Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). The slasher film which introduced the world to dream demon Freddy Krueger celebrated its 40th anniversary with a release on the 4K UHD format this week, and
A Nightmare on Elm Street sold an impressive 93% as many Blu-ray units as
Despicable Me 4, with an HD share of 99% and 99% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.
Dropping to third place on the Blu-ray-only chart in its second week is Paramount Home Media Distribution's
A Quiet Place: Day One. The horror prequel opened in June 2024 to positive reviews and an opening weekend of over $52 million, en route to over $138 million domestically and over $261 million globally. This week,
A Quiet Place: Day One sold 89% as many Blu-ray units as
Despicable Me 4, with an HD share of 41% and 11% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.
Elsewhere on the charts, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's
Thanksgiving (2023) and Paramount's standalone release of
The Ring (2002), both of which wee also released on 4K UHD this week, came in at Nos. 8 and 9 on the Blu-ray-only chart. Elsewhere on the UHD Sellers chart, 88 Films'
The Project A Collection 4K (1983-1987) came in at No. 18.
