Kino Lorber have detailed their upcoming 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of David Twohy's Below (2002), starring Matthew Davis, Bruce Greenwood, Holt McCallany, Dexter Fletcher, and Olivia Williams. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on November 26.
Description: On what should be a routine rescue mission during World War II, the submarine USS Tiger Shark picks up three survivors of a U-boat attack. As the crew is trapped together in the sub's narrow corridors and constricted spaces, bizarre and frightening events begin to transpire. In a suspense-fueled race for survival, they must figure out the submarine's past before it's too late to resurface alive.
Hauntingly directed by David Twohy (Pitch Black) and co-written by Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream), Below is a harrowing, otherworldly excursion into undersea terror. The superb cast includes Olivia Williams (The Sixth Sense), Bruce Greenwood (Rules of Engagement), Matthew Davis (Blue Crush) and Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover).
