British label Icon Film Distribution is preparing a Blu-ray release of Peter Hyams' End of Days (1999), starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gabriel Byrne, Robin Tunney, and Kevin Pollak. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on November 25.
Descriotion: With the millennium approaching, a series of disturbing signs suggests that Satan has returned to Earth and is walking the streets of New York City. The fate of the Earth is left in the hands of ex-cop turned bodyguard, Jericho (Schwarzenegger), who not only must prevent Armageddon, but must also try and protect a young woman whose death - according to the Church - is the only way to avert disaster.
Directed by Peter Hyams (2010, Timecop, Outland), and written by Andrew W. Marlowe (Hollow Man, Air Force One), Arnols Schwarzenegger stars alongside Emmy nominees Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects, Miller's Crossing) and Mark Margolis (Breaking Bad, Pi), and Oscar winner Rod Steiger (In the Heat of the Night, On the Waterfront).
