Reel Vault Inc. has informed us that it will release on Blu-ray Michael Curtiz's The Proud Rebel (1958), starring Alan Ladd, Olivia de Havilland, Dean Jagger, David Ladd, and Cecil Kellaway. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on August 27.
Description: : Alan Ladd plays John Chandler, a veteran Confederate soldier living with his mute son in the Yankee-dominated north. Facing a 30-day jail sentence on trumped-up charges, John is saved by a local woman, played by Olivia de Havilland, who needs help on her ranch.
