For the week that ended on May 11th, Paramount Home Media Distribution's
The Crow which was released on 4K UHD this week, topped both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts. The film, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, was also issued in a
Limited SteelBook Edition (which is currently sold out) and a second,
Walmart Exclusive SteelBook. In addition to its success on the Blu-ray and overall packaged media charts, the film also came in first place on both the UHD Sellers chart and the UHD Market Share chart. This week,
The Crow had a perfect HD share of 100% and 99% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.
Dropping to second place on both charts in its second week is Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's
Madame Web. The fourth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (which also includes films like
Venom (2018) and
Morbius),
Madame Web opened in February 2024 to negative reviews and failed to top the box office, eventually taking some $43 million domestically and just breaking $100 million worldwide on a reported budget of between $80-$100 million. The aforementioned
Morbius suffered a similar fate in theaters, but likewise managed to
top the disc charts when it debuted in June 2022 and remain in the top three Blu-rays for the next two weeks afterwards. This week,
Madame Web sold 37% as many Blu-ray units as
The Crow, with an HD share of 52% and 14% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.
Taking third place on the Blu-ray-only chart in its second week is Walt Disney Home Entertainment's
Obi-Wan Kenobi: The Complete Series (2022), which, along with the three other Marvel and Star Wars series released by Disney last week, remained in the top ten across both the Blu-ray and 4K UHD formats. This week,
Obi-Wan Kenobi: The Complete Series sold 35% as many Blu-ray units as
The Crow, with a perfect HD share of 100% and 47% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.
Elsewhere on the charts, Kino Lorber's
High Noon 4K (1952) came in at No. 4 on the UHD Sellers chart. Outside the top ten, Lionsgate Home Entertainment's
One from the Heart 4K came in at No. 16 on the UHD Sellers chart.
