For the week of January 29th, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release a Blu-ray for Eli Roth's Thanksgiving (2023), starring Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman and Gina Gershon.

Description: After a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy, a mysterious Thanksgiving-inspired killer terrorizes Plymouth, Massachusetts – the birthplace of the holiday. Picking off residents one by one, what begins as random revenge killings are soon revealed to be part of a larger, sinister holiday plan. Will the town uncover the killer and survive the holidays…or become guests at his twisted holiday dinner table?

Sony's Blu-ray of Thanksgiving contains Blu-ray Exclusive extras, such as deleted and extended scenes, outtakes and Massachusetts Movies: Eli & Jeff's Early Films, along with filmmaker audio commentary, Behind the Screams and Gore Galore.

New from Lionsgate Home Entertainment is a Blu-ray and 4K UHD release for John Woo's Silent Night (2023), starring Joel Kinnaman, Kid Cudi, Harold Torres and Catalina Sandino Moreno.

Description: From legendary director John Woo and the producer of John Wick comes this gritty revenge tale of a tormented father (Joel Kinnaman) who witnesses his young son die when caught in a gang's crossfire on Christmas Eve. While recovering from a wound that costs him his voice, he makes vengeance his life's mission and embarks on a punishing training regimen in order to avenge his son's death. Full of Woo's signature style, Silent Night redefines the action genre with visceral, thrill-a-minute storytelling. Lionsgate presents, in association with Capstone Global, a Thunder Road Films / Capstone Studios / A Better Tomorrow Films production. Written by Robert Archer Lynn.

Lionsgate's Blu-ray releases of Silent Night contain the film's Dolby Atmos audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include the featurette Actions Speak Louder Than Words and a theatrical trailer.

Note: The 4K UHD release of Silent Night is currently only available as a Walmart Exclusive 4K UHD SteelBook.

Well Go USA will release on Blu-ray Aleksey Chadov's Infiltration (Своя война. Шторм в пустыне), starring Aleksey Chadov, Kristina Asmus, Sergey Borisov and Vitaliy Kishchenko.

Description: After ISIS captures his former commander deep in Syria, an ex-soldier stages a daring rescue. Now hunted by some of the world's most ruthless terrorists, the pair must survive the most dangerous mission of their lives in order to escape.

Well Go USA's Blu-ray of Infiltration contains a trailer.

Turning to catalog titles, Warner are two more Blu-rays from the Warner Archive Collection. They are:

Harry Beaumont's Faithless (1932), starring Tallulah Bankhead, Robert Montgomery, Hugh Herbert, Maurice Murphy, Louise Closser Hale and Lawrence Grant. Warner Archive presents Faithless from a new 4K scan of preservation elements, with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include the short films Rambling Round Radio Row, The Trans-Atlantic Mystery and The Symphonic Murder Mystery (all 1932).

William Keighley's The Prince and the Pauper (1937), starring Errol Flynn, Claude Rains, Henry Stephenson, Barton MacLane, Alan Hale and Eric Portman. Warner Archive presents The Prince and the Pauper from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include the Looney Tunes cartoons Plenty of Money and You, Streamlined Greta Green and Sunbonnet Blue (all 1937) as well as the film's original theatrical trailer.

Sam Wood's A Day at the Races (1937), starring Groucho Marx, Chico Marx, Harpo Marx, Allan Jones, Maureen O'Sullivan and Margaret Dumont. Warner Archive presents A Day at the Races from a new 4K scan of preservation elements, with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include a new audio-only clip of Groucho Marx: Dr. Hackenbush, audio commentary by author / film historian Glenn Mitchell, the making of featurette On Your Marx, Get Set, Go!, the MGM short film A Night at the Movies (1937) the MGM cartoons Gallopin' Gals (1940), Mama's New Hat (1939) and Old Smokey (1938), two additional audio-only clips: A Message from the Man in the Moon and Leo is On the Air, the film's original theatrical trailer and song selection. Vincente Minnelli's Cabin in the Sky (1943), starring Ethel Waters, Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson, Lena Horne, Louis Armstrong, Rex Ingram and Kenneth Spencer. Warner Archive presents Cabin in the Sky from a new 4K scan of preservation elements, with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Extras include audio commentary with Evangela Anderson and Eva Anderson (wife and daughter of Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson), Fayard Nicholas, Black cultural scholar Todd Boyd and film historian Dr. Drew Casper with interview excerpts of Lena Horne, the Pete Smith short Studio Visit (1946), an audio-only outtake of Louis Armstrong's "Ain't it the Truth" and the film's original theatrical trailer.

James L. George and Bob Seeley's Rover Dangerfield (1991), starring Rodney Dangerfield, Christopher Collins, Ronnie Schell, Dana Hill and Tress MacNeille. Warner Archive presents Rover Dangerfield from a new 2023 HD master, with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Stereo audio. Extras include the Merrie Melodies cartoons Dog Daze (1937) and Dog Collared (1950), the film's original theatrical trailer and song selection. John Payson's Joe's Apartment (1996), starring Jerry O'Connell, Megan Ward, Billy West, Reginald Hudlin, Jim Turner and Pepa. Warner Archive presents Joe's Apartment from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, with DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio. Extras include the Looney Tunes cartoons The Lady in Red (1935), From Hare to Eternity (1997) and Superior Duck (1996) as well as the film's original theatrical trailer. Also this week, Kino Lorber have a number of titles coming on 4K UHD and Blu-ray. First up is Fritz Lang's Scarlet Street (1945), starring Edward G. Robinson, Joan Bennett, Dan Duryea, Margaret Lindsay, Rosalind Ivan and Jess Barker. Sourced from a new 4K scan of 35mm nitrate composite fine grain, Kino presents Scarlet Street with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include a new audio commentary by film historian Imogen Sara Smith, as well as legacy audio commentary by author David Kalat (The Strange Case of Dr. Mabuse). A remastered Blu-ray is also included.

Then from Kino is a newly remastered Blu-ray of Anthony Mann and Alfred L. Werker's He Walked by Night (1948), starring Richard Basehart, Scott Brady, Roy Roberts, Whit Bissell, James Cardwell and Jack Webb. Sourced from a new 4K scan of a 35mm fine grain, Kino present He Walked by Night with a new audio commentary by film historian Imogen Sara Smith and a legacy audio commentary by author / film historian Alan K. Rode and writer / film historian Julie Kirgo.

Also coming to 4K UHD and remastered Blu-ray from Kino is James L. Conway's The Boogens (1981), starring Rebecca Balding, Fred McCarren, Anne-Marie Martin, Jeff Harlan, John Crawford and Med Flory. Sourced from a new 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative, Kino presents The Boogens with lossless 2.0 and 5.1 audio tracks and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include a new audio commentary by actor Jeff Harlan and film historian Howard S. Berger, legacy audio commentary by the filmmakers, the featurette William Munns: The Man Who Made The Boogens, a theatrical trailer and two TV spots.

Finally from Kino comes a Blu-ray for Monk: The Complete Third Season (2004-2005), starring Tony Shalhoub. The four-disc set contains all 16 episodes, sourced from new 4K masters and includes five legacy featurettes as extras.

Coming to Blu-ray from ClassicFlix is a two-disc Blu-ray for The Abbott and Costello Show: Season 2 (1953-1954), starring Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. Newly remastered from original 35mm master elements by the 3-D Film Archive, in collaboration with the Library of Congress, ClassiFlix presents all 26 episodes of The Abbott and Costello Show: Season 2 with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Mono audio. Coming to Blu-ray from Arrow Video is Peter Yates' Murphy's War (1971), starring Peter O'Toole, Siân Phillips, Philippe Noiret, Horst Janson and John Hallam. Sourced from an HD master, Arrow present Murphy's War with lossless mono audio. Extras include Running Out of War: A new visual essay by film critic David Cairns and archival interviews with assistant director John Glen, focus puller Robin Vidgeon and film critic Sheldon Hall, as well as a theatrical trailer and image gallery. An included illustrated collector's booklet features new writing by film critic Philip Kemp and the release also includes a reversible cover with original artwork.

Also coming from Arrow is a remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD for John Milius' Conan the Barbarian (1982), starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Earl Jones, Max von Sydow, Sandahl Bergman, Ben Davidson and Cassandra Gava. Newly remastered from the original negative by Arrow Films, they present Conan the Barbarian in three versions: The 126-minute US theatrical version, the 129-minute international cut and the 130-minute extended cut, all with a choice of a new Dolby Atmos remix, or DTS-HD MA Mono audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Extras include a new audio commentary by Paul M. Sammon, a newly assembled DTS-HD MA 2.0 Stereo isolated score track and archival audio commentary by John Milius and Arnold Schwarzenegger (all three tracks on the extended cut only), while an included special features Blu-ray contains seven new interviews with various cast and crew members, a new appreciation from filmmaker Robert Eggers, the new featurettes Behind the Barbarian with John Walsh (author of Conan the Barbarian: The Official History of the Film) and A Line in the Sand with Alfio Leotta (author of The Cinema of John Milius), a 35-minute electronic press kit from 1982, Conan Unchained: The Making of Conan (2000), A Tribute to Basil Poledouris and several other previously-released featurettes and interviews, along with trailers and an image gallery. Limited edition content includes a double-sided fold-out poster, six double-sided collectors' postcards, and an illustrated collectors' booklet featuring new writing by Walter Chaw and John Walsh and an archive set report by Paul M. Arrow also has a remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD for the sequel, Richard Fleischer's Conan the Destroyer (1984), starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Grace Jones, Wilt Chamberlain, Mako, Tracey Walter and Sarah Douglas. Newly remastered from the original negative by Arrow Films, they present Conan the Destroyer in with a choice of a new Dolby Atmos remix, or DTS-HD MA Mono audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Extras include a new audio commentary by Paul M. Sammon, a newly assembled DTS-HD MA 2.0 Stereo isolated score track, three archival audio commentary tracks, four new interviews with various cast and crew members, the new featurette Behind the Destroyer (with John Walsh, author of Conan the Barbarian: The Official History of the Film), two archival featurettes, two trailers and an image gallery. Limited edition content includes a double-sided fold-out poster, six double-sided collectors' postcards, and an illustrated collectors' booklet featuring new writing by Walter Chaw and John Walsh and an archive set report by Paul M. Note: On the same day, Arrow will release both Conan the Barbarian and Conan the Destroyer in a box set called The Conan Chronicles (1982-1984). As with the individual films, there are separate 4K UHD and Blu-ray editions available.

Coming to 4K UHD and reissued Blu-ray from MVD Visual is Rospo Pallenberg's Cutting Class (1989), starring Donovan Leitch Jr., Jill Schoelen, Brad Pitt, Roddy McDowall, Martin Mull and Tom Ligon. Previously released on Blu-ray by Vinegar Syndrome in 2018, MVD presents Cutting Class with LPCM 2.0 Mono (and Dolby Digital Stereo) audio and HDR on the 4K UHD disc. New extras for this release include a "Find The Killer and Win" retailer promo and the 91-minute R-rated version of the film (in SD resolution) while legacy extras include video interviews with actors Jill Schoelen and Donovan Leitch, as well as a trailer. Packaging includes reversible artwork, a slipcover and a mini-poster.

Coming to Blu-ray from new label Cinématographe Films is a Blu-ray for John Dahl's Red Rock West (1993), starring Nicolas Cage, Dennis Hopper, Lara Flynn Boyle, Timothy Carhart, J.T. Walsh and Craig Reay. Sourced from a new 4K scan of an interpositive, Cinématographe presents Red Rock West with DTS-HD MA 2.0 audio. Extras include new interviews with director and co-writer John Dahl and co-writer Rick Dahl, a new audio commentary with historian Alain Silver and filmmaker Christopher Coppola, a new video essay Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures, by Chris O'Neill an archival interview with editor Scott Chestnut, an archival video essay, Caged In, by Petros Patsilivas, and a 40-page booklet with new essays by Jourdain Searles, Keith Phipps and Justin LaLiberty. Finally this week, the Criterion Collection have two releases to offer. First is a remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD for Danny Boyle's Trainspotting (1996), starring Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, Kevin McKidd, Robert Carlyle and Kelly Macdonald. Sourced from a new 4K master (supervised by director Danny Boyle), Criterion presents Trainspotting in its uncut version with DTS-HD MA 2.0 Surround and DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio tracks and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include Criterion's 1996 Laserdisc audio commentary for the film, while an included remastered Blu-ray also has: New interviews with production designer Kave Quinn and costume designer Rachael Fleming, the documentaries Memories of "Trainspotting" and Off the Rails: The Making of "Trainspotting", a featurette with reflections from artists on the soundtrack, nine deleted scenes with optional filmmaker commentary and teaser and theatrical trailers. Also included is a booklet with essays by critic Graham Fuller and author Irvine Welsh, as well as Welsh's glossary of terms from his novel. Also from Criterion is a Blu-ray for Dee Rees' Mudbound (2017), starring Carey Mulligan, Jason Clarke, Jason Mitchell, Mary J. Blige, Rob Morgan and Jonathan Banks. Sourced from a 2K master (supervised by director Dee Rees and director of photography Rachel Morrison), Criterion present Mudbound with a Dolby Atmos audio track. Extras include audio commentary with Dee Rees, a new documentary with Rees, composer Tamar-kali, editor Mako Kamitsuna, and makeup artist Angie Wells, a new on-set documentary with members of the cast and crew, an interview with Rachel Morrison, a new interview with production designer David J. Bomba and a teaser and trailer. Also included is an essay by critic Danielle Amir Jackson.
