Kino Lorber are preparing a Blu-ray release of Gilles Grangier's film noir
Gas-Oil a.k.a.
Hi-Jack Highway (1955), starring Jean Gabin, Jeanne Moreau, Gaby Basset, Simone Berthier, and Charles Bouillaud. The release is expected to arrive on the market early next year.
After a spending the night with his girlfriend, trucker Jean encounters a dead body on the road home. He reports the incident to the police authorities, but they suspect that Jean was responsible for the death.
