Discotek Media has announced its January batch of Blu-ray releases. They are: Tachigui: The Amazing Lives of the Fast Food Grifters (2006), Fatal Frame (2014), Kurokami: The Animation (2009), Lovely Complex (2007), Lupin III: Sweet Lost Night (2008), Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha: TV Series 1 (2004), and Urusei Yatsura: TV Series Collection 04 (1985-1986).
Kurokami: The Animation
Description: Ever since his mom passed away, Keita hasn't been too crazy about the whole idea of "friends." Moreover, he's tormented by the memory of a chance meeting from just before his mother's death - an encounter with a woman who looked exactly like her. In the midst of a shocking tragedy, Keita bumps into Kuro, a mysterious girl who claims that the woman wasn't a doppelgänger, but something called a "doppeliner." However, that's just the tip of the iceberg as Keita and Kuro quickly discover that their destinies have become inextricably linked in a bloody, no-holds-barred brawl for survival.
Based on the original manhwa by Dall-Young Lim and Sung-Woo Park, Sunrise (Mobile Suit Gundam, Cowboy Bebop) and Director Tsuneo Kobayashi (The Twelve Kingdoms, The Last: Naruto the Movie) refuse to hold back in this action-packed clash with the threads of fate!

Tachigui: The Amazing Lives of the Fast Food Grifters
Description: The Tachigui Masters - nomadic gourmands who've been said to skip out on the bill in search of some kind of enlightenment. Though their ways were born out of necessity, the masters' methods have continued to evolve in strange and outlandish ways. This recently rediscovered documentary chronicles the widely rumored exploits of these fast food grifters. But be warned, these accounts tend to vary… wildly.
Production I.G (Psycho-Pass, Kill Bill Vol. 1) and Director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor) call on a who's who of anime luminaries to stage a puppet show set in the brutal alternate history of the Kerberos Saga. For the first time anywhere, the exacting and offbeat mockumentary is strung up on Blu-ray alongside a hearty serving of in-depth special features - all presented in high definition with the original Japanese language and English subtitles on the side!

Director Mari Asato (Ju-on: Black Ghost, Hyouka) takes a haunting snapshot of young love and tragedy in this atmospheric horror film inspired by the Fatal Frame video game series!
