For the week of October 9th, Paramount Home Media Distribution will release Steven Caple Jr.'s Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, starring Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Velez, Dean Scott Vazquez, Tobe Nwigwe and Sarah Stiles.

Description: OPTIMUS PRIME and the AUTOBOTS take on their biggest challenge yet! When a new threat capable of destroying the entire planet emerges, they must team up with a powerful faction known as the MAXIMALS. With the fate of humanity hanging in the balance, Noah (Anthony Ramos) and Elena (Dominique Fishback) will do whatever it takes to help the TRANSFORMERS as they engage in the ultimate battle to save Earth.

Paramount's releases of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts contain the film's Dolby Atmos audio, with Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Over an hour of extras include nine featurettes and extended / deleted scenes. In addition to standard packaging, a Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook will also be available. Also coming from Paramount is a 4K UHD upgrade for Roman Polanski's Rosemary's Baby (1968), starring Mia Farrow, John Cassavetes, Ruth Gordon, Sidney Blackmer, Maurice Evans and Ralph Bellamy. Paramount presents Rosemary's Baby with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby TrueHD 2.0 Mono audio. An included Blu-ray features the featurettes Rosemary's Baby - A Retrospective, Mia and Roman and both theatrical and 50th anniversary "Redband" trailers.

New on Blu-ray from Walt Disney Home Entertainment and 20th Century Studios is Rob Savage's The Boogeyman (2023), starring David Dastmalchian, Sophie Thatcher, Chris Messina, Marin Ireland, Vivien Lyra Blair and Madison Hu.

Description: In this horror-thriller from the mind of Stephen King, two sisters — along with their therapist father — are reeling from their mother's death. When a desperate patient comes to their home, he leaves behind a terrifying entity that feeds on its victims' suffering.

20th Century Studios' Blu-ray of The Boogeyman contains the featurette Into the Darkness and outtakes.

Also from Disney is a remastered Blu-ray and 4K UHD upgrade for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), starring the voices of Adriana Caselotti, Lucille La Verne, Stuart Buchanan, Roy Atwell, Pinto Colvig, and Otis Harlan. Newly remastered from its originalnitrate negative. Disney presents Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio and HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras include audio commentary, In Walt's Words: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, alternate sequences and much more. In addition to standard packaging, a Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook and a Walmart Exclusive with Pin will also be available.

New on Blu-ray from Decal Releasing is Marc Turtletaub's Jules, starring en Kingsley, Harriet Sansom Harris, Zoe Winters, Jane Curtin, Teddy Cañez and Edward James Hyland.

Description: Jules follows Milton (Kingsley) who lives a quiet life of routine in a small western Pennsylvania town, but finds his day upended when a UFO and its extra-terrestrial passenger crash land in his backyard. Before long, Milton develops a close relationship with the extra-terrestrial he calls "Jules." Things become complicated when two neighbors (Harris and Curtin) discover Jules and the government quickly closes in. What follows is a funny, wildly inventive ride as the three neighbors find meaning and connection later in life - thanks to this unlikely stranger.

Decal Releasing's Blu-ray of Jules contains the featurette Becoming Jules and a trailer.

Finally for new releases this week, Well Go USA has a Blu-ray for Aleksandr Boguslavskiy's Forgotten Experiment (Сквозь время), starring Viktor Dobronravov, Sonia Priss, Egor Koreshkov, Egor Beroev, Daniel Barnes and Nikita Tarasov.

Description: A young eccentric inventor and businessman with a team of scientists finds himself in a mysterious anomalous zone where time is broken. Now they need to unlock the secrets of the past to save the future.

Well Go USA's Blu-ray of Forgotten Experiment contains a behind-the-scenes featurette and a trailer.

Turning to catalog titles, the Criterion Collection will release a 4K UHD upgrade for David Cronenberg's Videodrome (1983), starring James Woods, Sonja Smits, Debbie Harry, Peter Dvorsky, Leslie Carlson and Jack Creley. Criterion presents Videodrome from a 4K master of the unrated version (approved by David Cronenberg), with Dolby Vision HDR and LPCM Mono audio. Extras include Criterion's two legacy audio commentaries, while an included Blu-ray features additional legacy extras, including Cronenberg's short film Camera (2000), audio and video interviews, the 1982 roundtable discussion Fear on Film featuring Cronenberg, John Landis, and John Carpenter, an original making of featurette, original theatrical trailers and more. Coming from Shout Factory is a 4K UHD upgrade for Stan Winston's Pumpkinhead (1988), starring Lance Henriksen, Jeff East, John D'Aquino, Kimberly Ross, Joel Hoffman and Cynthia Bain. Shout presents Pumpkinhead from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative, with DTS-HD MA 2.0 and 5.1 audio options and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD disc. Extras replicate Shout's previous Blu-ray editions and include filmmaker audio commentary (on Blu-ray and 4K UHD) the lengthy making of featurette Pumpkinhead Unearthed, cast and crew interviews, Remembering the Monster Kid: A Tribute to Stan Winston and much more. In addition to standard packaging, a Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook will also be available.

Also coming from Shout is a new Blu-ray box set for Nick Park's Wallace & Gromit: The Complete Cracking Collection (1989-2008), which includes the iconic duo's four short films A Grand Day Out (1989), The Wrong Trousers (1993), A Close Shave (1995) and A Matter of Loaf and Death (2008), as well as the Cracking Contraptions (2002) series of short films.

Coming to Blu-ray from Cult Epics is Marleen Gorris' The Last Island (1990), starring Paul Freeman, Shelagh McLeod, Patricia Hayes, Kenneth Colley, Mark Hembrow and Marc Berman. Sourced from a new 2K scan, Cult Epics presents The Last Island with DTS-HD MA 2.0 and LPCM 2.0 Stereo audio options. Extras include an audio introduction by Dick Maas, audio commentary by film scholar Peter Verstraten, behind-the-scenes, a 1990 interview with Dutch politician Annemarie Grewel, the film's original theatrical trailer and more.

Coming to Blu-ray from 88 Films is Jing Wong's The Last Blood (驚天12小時) (AKA Hard Boiled II) (1990), starring Alan Tam, Andy Lau, Eric Tsang, Ka-Yan Leung, May Mei-Mei Lo and Jackson Lou. 88 Films presents The Last Blood with original Cantonese or English dubbed mono audio options and newly translated English subtitles. Extras include audio commentary by Hong Kong film expert Frank Djeng, trailers and a stills gallery.

Debuting on Blu-ray and 4K UHD from Tribeca is Robert De Niro's A Bronx Tale (1993), starring Robert De Niro, Chazz Palminteri, Joe Pesci, Lillo Brancato, Joseph D'Onofrio and Taral Hicks. Tribeca presents A Bronx Tale from a new 4K master, with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio and Dolby Vision HDR on the 4K UHD edition. Extras include Revisiting A Bronx Tale: New interviews with Robert De Niro, Chazz Palminteri and producer Jane Rosenthal, an original making of featurette and the film's theatrical trailer. Note that the film will be available in separate Blu-ray and 4K UHD editions. In addition to standard packaging, a Amazon Exclusive 4K UHD with 4 Postcards and Booklet will also be available.

Debuting on Blu-ray from Radiance Films is Juanma Bajo Ulloa's The Dead Mother (La madre muerta) (1993), starring Karra Elejalde, Lio, Ramón Barea, Ana Álvarez and Elena Irureta. Sourced from a 4K scan of the original camera negative, Radiance presents The Dead Mother with LPCM 2.0 audio and optional English subtitles. Extras include filmmaker audio commentary, a 38-minute making of featurette, Ulloa's short film Victor's Kingdom (El reino de Victor) (1989), a n image gallery and a trailer. Finally this week, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has a 4K UHD upgrade for Gerard Johnstone's M3GAN (2022), starring Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, Ronny Chieng, Amie Donald, Jenna Davis and Brian Jordan Alvarez. Originally released on Blu-ray-only back in March 2023, Universal brings MEGAN to 4K UHD in both unrated and PG-13 theatrical versions, now with the film's Dolby Atmos audio and HDR. Extras include three featurettes and a Blu-ray copy is also included. In addition to standard packaging, a Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook will also be available.
