Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced that they will re-release the Pixar animated film '
Cars' as a limited edition gift set on November 10th, day-and-date with the Blu-ray releases of '
Up' and '
Monster's Inc.'. When released, '
Cars: Ultimate Cars Gift Set' will feature a Disney Combo Blu-ray release, which includes a DVD copy of the film, along with two die-cast models of Lightning McQueen and Mater.
The Blu-ray release will feature the same extras as the previous release, but will feature a new 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack to replace the original PCM soundtrack. The critically acclaimed video transfer is not expected to be changed for this release.
