Upcoming Signal One Entertainment Releases

British label Signal One Entertainment plans to add three new titles to its Blu-ray catalog in September and October. They are: Shark! (1969), Death Race 2000 (1975), and The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires (1974).

Shark!

Description: An American gunrunner, Caine (Burt Reynolds), arrives in a dusty town in Sudan after escaping corrupt government soldiers. Broke and desperate, he agrees to sign up as a deckhand to ichthyologist Dan Mallare (Barry Sullivan) and his mistress Anna (Silvia Pinal) who are supposedly collecting rare fish specimens.

Caine soon discovers that his new employers are crooked treasure hunters look for gold bullion buried in the deep, shark-infested waters and that they would stop at nothing to ger their hands on sunken treasure.

The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires

Description: Professor Van Helsing (Peter Cushing) and Count Dracula (John Forbes-Robinson) meet again in this spectacular kung fu horror set in the village of Ping Kuei. After learning about the seven golden vampires of the village, Hsi Ching, Vanessa Buren and Mai Kwei offer to guide Van Helsing and his son to Ping Kwei to free it from the curse of Count Dracula.

Throughout their journey, the group encounter several unwanted attackers until they arrive at the golden vampires' derelict temple, inhabited by Dracula. It is here, in this eerie place, where Van Helsing and the Count begin a battle-to-the death where good and evil collide, and only one man is left standing.

Death Race 2000

Description: In the year 2000, hit and run has become the national sport. It's a no-holds-barred cross-country race, in which the aim is to kill off not only your opponents but as many pedestrians as possible.

Favorite driver, Frankenstein (David Carradine) takes on Machine Gun Joe Viterboe (Sylvester Stallone) in this classic, adrenaline thriller. However, this year's events are about to be complicated by the efforts of a small but dedicated army of revolutionaries. Their overthrow of Mr President hinges on the sabotage of the Race and the elimination of Frankenstein, but Frankenstein himself is not what he seems.
